Shut up, and get out of the way.

From Ed Morrissey’s post, I’m going to give you a quote:

“I tell them to get a life. That’s old Washington, that’s old ways, and I don’t represent that, and that kills them,” ****** told ABC News Radio in an interview today.

“I’m telling them and I’m looking them in the eye and say I’ve had enough of it. If you don’t want me in the job, fire me. But until then, shut up. Get with the program or get out of the way.

Now I’m going to give you another quote:

“But I don’t want the folks that created the mess — I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them just to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.

“I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking,” ****** said.

Now, one of those quotes was Barack Obama. The other one is Michael Steele. Guess which is which.

Can someone please tell me why they’re almost indistinguishable from one another?

I know which one is Obama, so I won’t give it away.

Hadn’t heard the Steele one before, though…

Why is it so difficult for him just to speak generally favourably about conservative principles, avoid taking sides in candidate disputes, and to concentrate on re-building the party organization? I mean, that’s what he’s here for.

Er, because they’re both puffed-up, narcissistic, untalented windbags who are in over their heads?

Very interesting. Alex, I’ll take people who grade their own performance a B or higher for $1000. The answer is; Wow! Double Jeopardy.
