Democrat Senator Says Nazi-like Republicans ‘Ruined’ Christmas

Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) is a piece of work:
“Far from appealing to the better angels of our nature, too many colleagues are embarked on a desperate no-holds-barred mission of propaganda, obstruction and fear. History cautions us of the excesses to which these malignant, vindictive passions can ultimately lead. Tumbrils have rolled through taunting crowds, broken glass has sparkled in darkened streets. Strange fruit has hung from Southern trees. Even this great institution of government that we share has cowered before a tail-gunner waving secret lists. . . .
“We see it in Christmases and holidays ruined by the Republicans for our loyal and professional Senate employees. It’s fine for me. It’s fine for the president. We signed up for the his job, but why ruin it for all the employees condemned by the Republicans to be here?” (Emphasis added.)

No references to “coal in the stocking”, especially since there’s no such thing as “clean coal”?

Hey, idiot. Dems make the schedule.

I’m sorry who is forcing who to vote on this bill so quickly?
sammypants on December 20, 2009 at 7:17 PM
Didn’t y’all know? It the evil Republicans forcing this by their unreasoning opposition to the bill!
Whitehouse is a friggin’ idiot.

Atleast he didn’t call them racists!

So somebody who is favor of imposing a national socialistic form of of legislation here in America is calling the opposition party of republicans Nazis?
Somebody get a memo Senator Whitehouse – The National Socialist German Workers’ Party were an important part of the landscape in German politics that ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945. Its members were called Nazis.
The people from Rhode Island better start asking themselves some serious questions about the sanity of this Senator. Who is this guy trying to fool? Himself? Either he is phychotic and a candidate for electrical shock treatment stat or he is as dumb as a bag of hammers. I say he is both, so let’s go ahead with the treatment anyway. What do we have to lose?

I’m sure that was just an oversight…

Why doesn’t Harry Reid just close up shop and say this will be completed after the holidays? The GOP isn’t driving this. It’s being driven by Reid and Obama’s political clock.

Seriously; it can’t be against the law to beat the crap out of dumbasses like that, can it?
When they so desperately need and deserve it?

Maybe if they’d worked a full 5 day week all year like Nancy-baby promised they’d not be concerning themselves with personal deadlines. And like Vera and Mark1971 said, who set the schedule? Midas, need a wingman?
