What makes this so amazing to me is how the MSM’s political bias apparently trumps their basic news judgment.

The Chicago way stops all inquiries. Anyone in the intelligence business knows that once a person has been compramised, they are extortable.

I honestly can’t believe this isn’t a huge, front page, headline-grabbing story. Imagine if Bush had fired an IG without the proper warning, then tried to smear him as being senile and all because he was investigating a corrupt supporter who had not only misused Federal funds but was apparently also using that money to pay-off ~~women~~ girls who had accused him of sexual harassment.

Congress would be howling for impeachment charges don’t you think?

When I first heard about the Walpin firing/smear I thought that this would be a major blow against Obama- to now learn about the sexual harassment charges against Johnson too…frankly if the media was doing it’s job I truly believe this could bring down the Obama White House.

The fact is that a sitting US president abused his power to sack an IG doing his job for the benefit of a corrupt supporter accused of sexually harassing students. In the process he also tried to destroy Walpin’s reputation.

What’s going on America? Even conservative blogs don’t seem to be getting too worked up about this- I just can’t fathom why there isn’t more outrage over this incredible abuse of the office of the President. Good grief, if Obama can get away with this where will he stop?

Thanks for keeping us informed Stacy. Keep this on the front burner for us. Once the health care flies or dies, this story will pop up. Obama’s decline in the polls will need to be justified. This story may be the final straw that breaks the Obama administation camels back. Walpin righteousness must and will be rewarded someday soon. This is an Americorp mess and it just adds to to the rest of the corruption mix along with every ACORN catastrophe & the calamities we’ve had to endure because of the SEIU. Are the Unions still getting a 10 billion dollar windfall from the Pelosicare legislation? Is it in the Senator Hemorrhoidcare legislation too?
