it seems obvious that the electorates of both states are pretty well inebriated on something.

Considering the ease of getting “medical” marijuana here in California, I’d have to go with “or something”.

All you naysayers should remember that, after the initial claims of stimulus “jobs created or saved” were proven bogus, the Administration says it now “triple-checks” all the new figures before posting them.

Maybe Minnesota and California don’t even KNOW how many congressional districts they have! Judging by recent election results, it seems obvious that the electorates of both states are pretty well inebriated on something.

Sadly, the modern education system does not teach civics any more. How many Californians (or Americans for that matter) really know how many congressional districts are in their state? How many people really know who their congresscritters are? How many people know how much is removed from their paycheck to feed the excesses of government?

In spite of the mass of civic idiots out there, I do think the number of people who are paying attention to some of these things is on the rise.

The 5th district is Sacramento. It shows 94000+ jobs saved.
I would guess Sacramento gets credit for keeping state workers in their jobs. The rest of the state? Not so important.
