The Euros, who would be absolutely furious if George Bush had campaigned for a center-right candidate, are attempting to meddle in an internal, American, decision.

And they’ll likely succeed – the award giving Obama enough cover to scale back even the limited counter-terror work that we’re currently doing.

The one thing – the *only* thing – that makes me grin in this is that the Euro idiots have succeeded in proving that the peace prize is purely political, and thus it will be less useful as cover in the future.

I was under the understanding presidents can’t keep “gifts” of any substantial value.

They admitted this was done in hopes it would put the shove on “what he hopes to do.” That may not be a direct quote, but if you read the statement, that’s basically what they’re saying. They like his attitude and want to encourage his plans.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this man is NOTHING but a puppet for left wing movers and shakers. If one were to open him up, I’d be willing to bet there ain’t nothin’ in there but a new age Mr. Microphone and some animatronic gears. What I’d love to know is who is REALLY runnin’ the show.
