Red Dawn II Production Crew Blows Up Building in Detroit, Nobody Notices Difference

posted at 10:40 am on October 7, 2009 by

The Red Dawn sequel is in production, and what better city in which to depict the horrible aftermath of unchecked socialist, communist and Marxist aggression than Detroit?

It’s said that the villian(s) in the remake will be Russians and Chinese, but given the fact that the director has donated money to Obama — as has one of the film’s co-writers — I have a feeling that some additional threats to freedom will be insurance executives who moonlight as racist tea partiers and disrupt the town hall meetings of well-intentioned liberal politicians.

The boom-boom happens at about the :45 second mark — I might be crazy, but I think you can see former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick planting the only copy of his personal finances in the building just before it blows:

It’s somewhat appropriate that there was a big explosion in Detroit yesterday, because it coincided with the Detroit Tigers giant implosion in Minneapolis last night.

Who was the schmuck standing across the street directly in the path of the blast?

Michael Moore?

I wonder what will happen to Detroit? But Michigan has been in a depression for decades, how much worse can it get? How bad does it have to get for them to dump the Democrats?

Let’s see how Hollyweird is going to slaughter yet another remake.
No rukiddingme, it couldn’t have been Moore, that guy in the video is way to thin to be him.
Considering Kwame is trying to get his restitution payments reduced, it wouldn’t suprise me if it was him. Hell, the guy is only making 20,000 per month working for a Compuware subsidiary. How can he be expected to make such an unreasonable payment to a city he defrauded out of millions. Do I really need the sarcasm button?

Thank God this is Jenny G’s last term.
Like I have said before, the ONLY campaign promise she kept was that ‘We’d be blown away’(slogan from her last campaign). She was right, we have been.
I am hoping that voters will see the light. Unfortunately the welfare rolls are so high, I shudder to think that we will have many more years of Dems in this state

It is fascinating that all the major population centers that lean to the left are broke or going broke.

It wasn’t to long ago, I read an article that said it has been about 40 years since Detroit has had Rep. leadership…and it shows.

And once again in the space of a second Hollywood leaves a “carbon footprint” bigger than any ten families on modest incomes combined. XD

That was RAAAAACIST! (5 A’s is the officially approved spelling)

Blacksmith8 on October 7, 2009 at 2:39 PM

Dang, considering property values in Detroit, that had to cost upwards of ten, fifteen thousand bucks.

You should see how much our state pays out in a loser program of incentives, to have these hollywood morons film in Michigan.

Kwame called the movie crew and told them to “Pull it.”

Google it.
