This is scary stuff. Getting rid of ACORN may be like trying to get rid of Kudzu, first you kill the leaves, then the vines and finally the roots. It takes a lot of time and effort.

It was an amazing show that provide a whole lot of insight into this organization. It also showed just how unwilling Rathke is to tell the truth on anything. Talk about slimy.

The spookiest thing about this, for me, is that this sort of thing is going on all over this country. They managed to cover up the Rathke brother's embezzlement adventure for quite some time. And the only reason ACORN got any of the stolen money back was because some lib benefactor bought the promissory note from ACORN. Otherwise they'd still be out nearly a million bucks!

This "community organization" racket is as bad or worse than some mafia/mob organizations. And this particular group is not going to be easy to bring down. It's going to require serious investigation of all aspects of this group's business practices and I'm not convinced the president is going to allow this to be done.

I saw the show with Megan and it was great. There are so many other orginations acorn is with, if they have to fold, they will just do their business under another one. The WHOLE thing needs to be stopped! This will probably never happen because of seiu and other union groups have their slimy fingers all over America and in the dc bunch pockets.
Speaking of seiu, have you seen MM main post on them and what they are doing in IL?
