Obama’s Concrete Actions In The Last 9 Months

This was rather amazing:

“President Obama said during his speech today: ‘For those who question the character and cause of my nation, I ask you to look at the concrete actions we have taken in just nine months.’

We know what he hasn’t gotten done – health care reform, cap and trade, any discernible bipartisanship or “healing” the country of our racial divides which his enthusiastic minions deepen at every opportunity.  Has the rise of the oceans started to slow?

Getting back to his speech, consider what concrete actions has President Obama taken in the last nine months.  He has:

  • Insulted England
    - giving DVDs that only play on American players to Gordon Brown
    - returned the Churchill bust
    - gave the Queen an iPod full of his own speeches
    - recently rebuffed Gordon Brown five times
  • Insulted Poland & Czechoslovakia
    - unilaterally broke a missile defense agreement with no warning, on the anniversary of the Russian invasion
  • Insulted and threatened Israel
    - “We are going to change the world. Please, don’t interfere.” The report said Netanyahu’s aides interpreted this as a “threat.”
    - delivered an anti-Israel speech at the UN
  • Aided in a coup against Honduras’ legitimate government after they legally ousted Zelaya
  • Failed to bring himself to even offer a kind word to Iran’s brave protesters – for how many days? – while they were being butchered in the streets by a government to which Obama can’t stop pandering
  • Embraced dictators and bowed to Saudi Arabia’s king
  • He’s broken so many campaign promises I can’t even keep count, especially ones related to lobbyists and transparency
  • Allowed his Attorney General to selectively prosecute racially charged cases
  • Announced decision to close GTMO in a year – though with no real plan of what to do with its inmates
  • Tripled the deficit and even has China worried about whether we are a good investment

(These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.  List your own in the comments and I’ll add them to the post.)

And this is how he wants the world to judge the character and cause of our nation.

* Broke the law in firing Walpin
* Nationalized car companies ostensibly because he has no interest in the government running the car companies? huh?
* Mocked those who protest his policies
* Enacted credit card reform that has led to credit card companies charging higher fees
* Imposed a $0.61 cigarette tax

* Allows eco-terrorists to harm CA farmers who produce up to 13% of the nation’s food, and lay off tens of thousands of workers — during a recession he calls the worst since the great depression

* Setting up a perfect storm where Israel must alone attack Iran to exist – this will trigger instability and almost definitely trigger MUCH higher oil prices — again, during a recession called worst since great depression

Daggett: I believe two other AGs were also fired, although Walpin’s was the mot egregious as the White House personally slandered him.

* Said a white cop acted stupidly by doing his job.
* Had the nation’s first annual presidential beer summit on the WH lawn.
* Looked the other way when his AG dropped charges against racist thugs who intimidated voters on election day.

* Totally forgot about the “tax cut for 95% of Amercians” that was the centerpiece of his campaign.

(Like that was really ever gonna happen)

* Encouraged the NEA to do propaganda for his liberal/progressive policies using the carrot/stick of gov’t funding.
* Hired a FCC “Diversity Czar” who thinks a free press is dangerous, a distraction, and who lauded Hugo Chavez for finding ways to shut down a free press

* Keeps the White House at a balmy 80*F, while wanting to raise our energy bills so high we’ll be using 3 sets of sweaters. While not a major thing – I live in Alaska – so HEAT (and its cost) is a major issue for us.

And, yes, he is a racist. Henry Gates story deserved a mention, but none of the other racial incidents in this country (Black Panthers, etc) deserve ANY mention, attention, or “healing”.

It’s worse than that. He wants to legislate controls over how much energy we are allowed to use so that we CAN’T POSSIBLY keep our houses at 72 degress. He says it’s unfair to the rest of the world.

In fact, in so many words, he has said that he believes that fairness (social justice) dictates that we should degrade our standard of living to come closer to matching those of most other countries.

Has trashed our Consitiution with everthing he has done since being elected.

Had DOE head Arne Duncan issue an unfunded mandate to teach an untested & unproven nation-wide lesson plan to all school Principals. The lesson plan has extension exercises that carry the assignment into November (the deadline for the Video Entry is Nov). Here is a good example of the DOE text and this teachers suggested augmentation.

This unfunded mandate usurped all local, county, and state education authorities. The Lesson (the Speech) was not released, although the lesson plan was. The lesson plan was bizarre, asking students ‘how they could help Obama’- it was retracted, revised and sanitized. The Lesson was released 2 days before it was to be delivered and was incongruous to either lesson plan.

A nationwide argument ensued and charged of racism were leveled. The administration declared it a success.

The end.

PS-
No data on students staying in school as a result of this plan is available. Costs for this plan (DOE and district by district) is unavailable.
