Ed Schultz on MSNBC: “Republicans Want to See You Dead”
posted at 9:08 am on September 24, 2009 by Michael van der Galien

Writing for David Horowitz’s NewsReal Ben Johnson reports that Keith Olbermann may not be the worst commentator employed by leftist cable news network MSNBC. Meet Ed Schultz:
The Republicans lie! They want to see you dead! They’d rather make money off your dead corpse! They kinda like it when that woman has cancer and they don’t have anything for her…My God, Democrats, what’s wrong with you?! You can’t deal with these people, at all!
Schultz proceeded to equate the GOP with the Cancer Caucus “and brandished a death wish against [moderate Republican] Olympia Snow.”
Now Olympia Snowe, I’m not wishing bad on you, at all, but if you get cancer in your stomach, Senator Snowe, what I would like you to do is wait two weeks to see a doctor. Huh?! You’re telling them to suck it up.
Snowe isn’t the first Republican targeted by loon-leftist Schultz: Earlier this month he invited Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-MN, “to slit her wrist right here on ‘The Ed Show.’
Suffice to say that conservatives may consider spending a little bit less timing criticizing right-of-center commentators and a bit more time going after Ed Schultz and the like.

But he’s not a demagogue, oh no. He’s simply speaking “the truth.”
I would like to sew his mouth shut.
Track-A-'Crat on September 24, 2009 at 9:14 AM
I don’t want to see him dead. Punched in his giant fat mouth, now that’s a different story.
Now, can some lefties kindly drum up equivalent demogoguery from Fox News, hm? Anyone? Bueller?

Everyone’s too busy fretting over Beck’s fake boiled frog.

“Everyone’s too busy fretting over Beck’s fake boiled frog.”
Exactly. Even the right. And that’s the problem right there.
Michael van der Galien on September 24, 2009 at 10:48 AM
There is no better way to expose a fool than to let him speak.
single stack on September 24, 2009 at 11:06 AM
single stack, I stand corrected. We should indeed let morons broadcast their idiocy as loud and often as possible.
Track-A-'Crat on September 24, 2009 at 11:33 AM
In a strategic sense, there’s a case to be made for segregating all the total raving moonbats off into some sort of dying industry where they can squawk incessantly at each other while fading into irrelevance….
Just as long as you can keep the total raving moonbats in congress from giving them bailouts.
cthulhu on September 24, 2009 at 11:57 AM
Well that’s a type of crazy you can’t fix.
Nice screencap by the way. Kinda sums up that guy’s personality in a frozen millisecond of time.
moonbat monitor on September 24, 2009 at 12:01 PM
you’re right single stack but… we should expose him for being the fool he is then. Which means a little bit less Beck and little bit more Olbermann and Schultz.
Michael van der Galien on September 24, 2009 at 12:07 PM
The beauty is that we don’t have to do anything to expose fools like Olberman and Schultz-except laugh and point. (I think there’s an Alinskyism in there somewhere.

I wonder if this loon, being equal in his criticism and all, would say the same thing to/about Teddy Kennedy.
What’s sickening is that the progressives KNOW that socialist medicine will create rationing. They KNOW it.
But the lure of political power and central control MUST come before facts, the lives of the citizens they serve, and, after all – the elites (political or media) won’t be waiting on gov’t care – they’ll go to the head of the line.
A complete lack of human empathy, ability to tell the truth, or hold true to ideas set forward in our founding documents – that’s a progressive.

“The beauty is that we don’t have to do anything to expose fools like Olberman and Schultz-except laugh and point. (I think there’s an Alinskyism in there somewhere.”
That’s all it requires, indeed. But that may mean we have to stop pointing at “our own” and start pointing at crazy leftists.
Steven – I’m not sure about that. I always like Hayek’s view on the average progressive.

With Obama overexposed and nuetered, is Ed Schultz the new face of the Democrat Party?
jhffmn on September 24, 2009 at 2:45 PM
pass the popcorn
They are melting down and outbursts like this will only fire up a small fringe of nutcases. It will turn off and disgust normal people on most points of the political spectrum.
I hope they keep it up. They’re melting down in slow motion and its fun to watch.

The Messiah and Mrs. Messiah have now invited Ed to be the Speech/Debate Czar for all private Christian Schools in the U.S. God Bless the Messiah and Mrs. Messiah – what a wonderful choice! Got to love those Dems!

I could understand this level of batshit crazy when the Left was out of power, but they own it all now.
I think I remember this level of out of controlness in the 1970s, in San Fransisco.

Maybe that’s what those letters on the chest were. “F Ed”.

I saw this live. Later in the show he actually scolded Republicans about needing a “reasoned” discussion on healthcare without all the “fear mongering.”

Cindy, are you serious? This guy is truly a lunatic. Truly.

Uh-oh. He’s on to us.
Matticus Finch on September 24, 2009 at 2:53 PM
If anyone watched his “show” this would be “news”. Since no one does, it’s not news. It’s just the norm on MSNBC.
Schultz, Olbermann, Maddow: the triumvirate of idiots, with a collective national viewership rating of Cleveland on a slow night.
Nobody watches, nobody cares, they’re talking to the wall.
Stop publicizing their idiocy on HotAir and their viewership would drop 20% overnight. To maybe the size of Buffalo.
bradley11 on September 24, 2009 at 2:53 PM
Is Schultz saying that I don’t care if he gets pancreatic cancer?
Hmmm…think, man, think…

Can’t we just all get along? The tone of this discourse concerns me. Why, it reminds me of the 1970′s in San Francisco (sob, sob)./s

jhffmn: that’s exactly what conservatives have to ask now. That’s what Dems do with Beck and other right-of-center commentators when they are… let’s say, politically incorrect, no?
Matticus: LMAO. Yep, that’s a problem, isn’t it? The GOP hid it so well for years!

I wondered how do you make money off of dead corpses.
Then it struck me..

I wish that people would finally come to realize that there is only one real solution to this problem: a good, old fashioned, all-out civil war.
Neither side vows to stop until the last person who dares opposes them is shredded into a puddle on the pavement. the streets are turned into rivers of blood and body parts and this country is smashed by a tsunami violence until the war is over.
We came out of the last one far stronger and this one would be even better. We certainly would have peace with the rest of the world, too.
Which ever side won would scare the Hell out of the rest of the world for the conceivable future. If we’re willing to do this to ourselves, think what we would do to them if they attacked us.

I can’t take someone as pro-abortion as Ed seriously when he whines about Republicans not caring about ‘life and death’ decisions for full grown adults.
How do liberals keep their heads from exploding from logic paradoxes?
Maybe their thick skulls keep it all together…
skree on September 24, 2009 at 3:01 PM
That would be counter-productive. Dead people vote Democrat.
(Repeating myself from Ace’s becuase I like the line just that much.)

Yes. You won the interwebs with that comment.

Piglosi was right . The nut jobs are turning to violence . First saying you are not wishing harm upon someone , then wishing harm upon them is like the old ” No offense , or with all due respect , you suck scissors and donkeys “.

How do Republicans make money off dead corpses? In fact, sounds like something that might interest Democrats. After all, if dead people can still vote (with the help of your labor union buds, Ed), can’t we tax ‘em or something? It might be a way to help pay for Obamacare.
Pope Linus on September 24, 2009 at 3:07 PM
Fixed it for him.

Money off dead corpses ? Hmmm How much money are we talking about .

They don’t have to catch them on tape, they just hear the visciousness in their heads.

The Democrats lie! They want to see you dead! They’d rather get the carbon credits off of your jobless dead corpse! They kinda like it when you have a disease that your Medicare Advantage used to cover! My God, Republicans, what’s wrong with you!? You can’t deal with these people, at all!
Now Barney Franks, I’m not wishing anything wrong on you, but if your wee-wee gets a painful sore, what I’d like you to do is to go see your ex-roommate and get it taken care of…
unclesmrgol on September 24, 2009 at 3:12 PM
Dude, I’m bronzing that comment.
BadgerHawk on September 24, 2009 at 3:14 PM
Your comment, I mean. The compliment made what was otherwise a very pedestrian day.
BadgerHawk on September 24, 2009 at 3:15 PM
LOL – that actually sounds rather… reasonable…
Michael van der Galien on September 24, 2009 at 3:15 PM
He’s kind of emotional isn’t he? I find it hard to go after people like this because I can’t take them seriously. I know that others do but I don’t think you can fix this kind of crazy.
