CNN’s “Dueling Buses”

You remember the song “Dueling Buses” from the film Deliverance? Oh, that’s right — the phrase dueling buses is the tagline CNN has politely given to the latest White House strategy to combat opposition to ObamaCare. Taking a page directly out of the opponent’s playbook, Obama’s on-again off-again organizing arm Organizing for America is conducting a cross-country bus tour to rival the Tea party Express, which started its journey August 28. Well, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Only this isn’t straight-up imitation. Compare the companion pictures below of the kinds of crowds the buses have been greeted by on their tours. See if you can guess which picture represents true grass-roots support and which is a staged organizing event of the sort Democrats claim to deplore. (Click the image for a close look.)
The current occupant of the Oval Office has got to be the world’s biggest hypocrite.

Yeah, but lying is his REAL specialty.

Yeah and we paid for those signs and flags and for the buses, box lunches and folding money the “grassrooters” got.

What’s the difference between OFA rallies and those that were held at Nuremberg 75 years ago? Both were sponsored by the party in power with pre-printed signs bought using the national treasury.

larvcom: Interesting point. Disturbing too, when you think about what we may be dealing with in this administration.

I just got back from the Tea Party Express in Dallas. They estimated 3000 people were there. Pledge of Allegiance, Patriotic Songs, Speakers, etc. A great event. Glad to be a part of this during this time in history!

Wish I could have been there. Thank you for your patriotism, texasconserv.

I also attended the rally today with my young daughter. She and I both held up signs, sang songs, and really *felt* “America” today. Everyone was friendly and totally genuine. Lots of vets, many flags. Brought a tear to my eyes; and it’s the least I could do while my husband’s away in the Marine Corps.

Dr. Theo at Dakota Voice (http://www.dakotavoice.com) has posted photos of an Obamacare SEIU-run event in Indianapolis last week. Today he posted photos from a Tea Party Express event in Bloomington. The contrast is stark. It’s like comparing union thugs to free Americans.
