ExpressoBold:

For some reason, I made a number of typos and wordos in this post; for example, I mistyped trillion as "billion" several times (I've corrected that, as well as the one you caught... thanks!)

Apologies,

Question: Didn’t you mean “raise” in the assertion “Obama has sworn that he won’t cut taxes of anyone making less than $250,000 a year… ” or am I missing a cleverly sarcastic statement?

An outdated expression is "Have all the air you want - it's free."

How's that for sarcasm?

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."

I aver that the left's theoretical understanding of governance and the left's practical application of governance yield increasing poverty for a society. There is no possible way they can formulate and apply policy to increase wealth. It's like adding 11 billion and 3 billion and getting 9 billion.

Think North and South Korea. The left likes North Korea. The right, South Korea. The current U.S. leaders could convert the US into Zimbabwe.

We must stop all increases in government spending, and repeal the stimulus plan and TARP to survive the next two years.
