ABC and NBC Refuse to Air TV Ads Critical Of ObamaCare

Who needs a fairness doctrine when the the major TV networks are willing to be their own censors? So deep is their commitment to the Obama presidency, which they did their part to help make a reality by never properly vetting candidate Barack Obama, that ABC has refused to run an ad critical of Obama’s health care reform plan. This is the same network, mind you, on which a health care special aired in prime time last June and hosted at the White House!
Now NBC has joined ABC in its refusal to run the to run the ad, sponsored by a group that styles itself the League of American Voters. According to FOX News,
The 33-second ad . . ., which features a neurosurgeon who warns that a government-run health care system will lead to the rationing of procedures and medicine, began airing two weeks ago on local affiliates of ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS. On a national level, however, ABC and NBC have refused to run the spot in its present form.
Fortunately, YouTube isn’t as selective as the major broadcast networks. It has chosen to run the ad, which so far has received 39,825 views. That of course is a drop in the bucket, when measuring the success of a YouTube video. Feel free to judge for yourself by watching the ad, which appears below.
