Trig Truthers: Conspiracy-Theory Cockroaches

posted at 4:58 pm on August 25, 2009 by

Who are the Trig Truthers? What do the PDS moonbat brigades represent, and how should we deal with their sick lunacy? Having recently been criticized for engaging these fanatical anti-Palin bloggers — a waste of time, some say — I argue that it is not safe to ignore them:

The sad case of “Trig Truthers” — the wacko conspiracy theorists who insist that Gov. Sarah Palin did not give birth to her fifth son, Trig — would be a senseless tragedy if we did not learn the valuable lesson this episode teaches. . . .

Scratch a Palin-hating blogger and a Trig Truther bleeds; all of them push that crackpot stuff. This is what distinguishes the PDS moonbats from other “progressive” bloggers who, whatever their faults, are not obsessed with Sarah Palin’s obstetric history. . . .

Turn on the light and stomp a few of these cockroaches, and the rest will scurry off behind the refrigerator. So when I discovered that “Audrey” of the Palin’s Deceptions blog had left an online bread-crumb trail as “AnnieB393,” and that “Audrey’s” claim to be a “childbirth educator” and author matched the connection of “AnnieB393″ to an anti-circumcision book published in 1985 — on went the light. Stomp, stomp, stomp. . . .

If they wish to spread malicious nonsense to their fellow dimwits, the PDS moonbats at least ought to do it under their own names. If the Trig Truthers arrogantly assume they are secure in their online anonymity, further demonstrations of their stupidity may be required.

Please feel free to read the whole thing.

My take on this is, the people who are doing this is in serious need of mental observation. Frankly, I feel a gob of the people of my country needs to get a grip. Those people might want to take a look at bho, mo, and team. YOU like what this team is doing to my Republic? How many times does Sarah have to give proof? How about the ‘proof’ of bho?

What causes this madness? In a word: TV.

Michelle Malkin had been a journalist for years before she started appearing regularly on Fox News. Becoming “TV famous” brings you to the attention of people with minds crammed full of pop-culture trash, people who have been watching too much TV since childhood, and who therefore have difficulty distinguishing reality from fantasy.

The way in which heavy TV viewing erodes the mental faculties of critical discrimination — a problem that is specific to the medium of television — is insufficiently appreciated as a contributing factor to the deterioration of American political discourse in the past 50 years.

The best analysis of this phenomenon was, in fact, written by a liberal: Neil Postman’s Amusing Ourselves to Death. Postman particularly criticized the show-business shrewdness with which Reagan’s handlers exploited the inherent biases of TV as a medium, but it should be obvious that this sort of media manipulations has become a bipartisan affair.

At any rate, if you watch too much TV, it will inevitably erode your ability to think clearly. One symptom of TV overload is celebrity obsession — an irrational interest in the personal lives of famous people. You see that Palin Derangement Syndrome is a species of celebrity obsession.

Myself, I have zero interest in the personal lives of liberals like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, et al. All I care about is defeating their policies.

Cockroaches everywhere are deeply offended.

The Other McCain is doing great work. This is the second (that I’m aware of) “cockroach” he has helped stamp out. To paraphrase the song: He is stomping out the roaches where their grapes of wrath are stored. Or something like that. Good job, we need more of this. Rats and roaches like this don’t like the light shown on them. Gryphon is a good example. I wonder if this creep was also funded with stimulus money from the Big Zero.

BTW, Palins Facebook page has been under assault the last few days by paid trolls trying to divert her followers to alternate pages that argue that she is a liar, etc. But her flock is holding fast and the trolls don’t seem to be having much effect. I hope. Anyone know much about this?

Her followers numbers have been increasing faster than any other politicians site. Soon the total will be over a million and that doesn’t count her other online groups including Team Sarah and her now defunct AK Gov Twitter account which is still growing followers. Probably over a million total now if you include them all.

She just put out a message asking people to watch Glenn Beck’s series this week on the Czars as he exposes these radical losers O is keeping quiet about.
