Do you support or oppose giving people the option of being covered by a government health insurance plan that would compete with private plans?

I’m having great issues with the “compete” thing. The only way the government allows private companies to compete with them is by tying the private companies hands behind their back, gagging their mouth, and covering their eyes. Oh- and the playing field is by their design and it constantly changes.

Your employer could dump their employee plan at any time and employees would be forced into the public plan, i.e., you couldn’t go and buy your own private health insurance.

If your job has a healthcare plan and you quit, you are forced into the public plan. You can not buy your own private insurance and you can not enroll in your new job’s employee healthcare plan.

The competition will eventually kill all private insurance and employee healthcare plans forcing people into the public plan.

IOW, it’s all designed to force everybody except Congress into the public plan and give government total control over healthcare. They truly are evil ba$tards.
