Me three. “UHC is a civil rights movement.” “Gay marriage is a civil rights movement.” Yet Lynn Sweet and Perez Hilton did much to brand Obama as hyper-partisan and even bigoted. This was a trial balloon, and Gatesgate shot it down.

The resemblance to the tenements across from the Lorraine Motel in Memphis are purely coincidental, right?

That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the cartoon.

Incapable of self-reflection, they really do think that any opposition to their takeover and sundering of the healthcare industry is an attack of the care of health itself.

Yes, they really are that stupid. A lot of people talk of middle ways, reconciliation, or cooperation. It’s not possible, it never will be, and all attempts in that direction will fail.

You can’t reason with a Danziger, a Pelosi, a Barney Frank or an Obama. It’s not possible, because they don’t actually consider arguments, they just react to them.

The only chance we have is exposure, and that is a longshot until we can actually produce journalists that understand the difference between objectivity and neutrality in large enough numbers to actually affect coverage.

As a black conservative who wants Obama to fail in his attempt to “fundamentally transform” America, I can’t imagine the hate and ignorance that would lead one to believe Jim DeMint deserved to be equated with Dr. King’s assassin.

I noticed that whoever shot this video chickened out of showing your depiction of Condi Rice as a slave from Gone With The Wind, choosing to show the “Kool-Aid, anyone” panel instead. As Dan Rather used to say, “Courage.”

I submitted this comment, and saw “Comment Pending Approval”, which in reality means “I’m deleting all comments critical of me.” So I posted it here. Still, Danziger will have to read it to delete it, so I’m satisfied.

(If you’ve forgotten, the false charge was made by the Sharpton crowd that the chimp really was meant to represent Obama despite the fact Obama didn’t write the maddog bill.)

In response to sybill, who wrote that the building Danziger’s “DeMint” is firing a shotgun from resembles the tenements across from the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King Jr. was killed, here’s a photo from a Time magazine essay showing that it probably wasn’t a coincidence.

The Post showed terrible judgment when they chose to run this.

The WaPo showed terrible judgment by not going out of business so the cartoon is nothing. Come on, its the Washington Post, surely you didn’t expect anything more civil from them.

The left was already dabbling in Barack Obama assassination fantasies last year, where they could use his murder to destroy their Republican/conservative enemies.

If his poll numbers keep slipping and his pet causes fail to pass due to opposition from both Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats, look for those thoughts to resurface — as seen in cartoons like this — and possibly even to the point that the left fantasizes Obama as being of more value to their cause as a martyr than as president (though it’s really, really hard to imagine Joesph Biden being competent enough to take on the Lyndon Baines Johnson role of steamrolling something like New Deal II/Great Society II through Congress).

A deplorable cartoon yes but shouldn’t those elephants be depicted as rhinocerotes or rather RINO’s in this case.

A better cartoon would have been Obama dressed in Napoleon’s French Uniform complete French Shakos and headdress posing with his hand stuck down in the front of his pants cupping the withdrawn nads while feeling for his ever shrinking winkie in front of a distant winter landscape of russia with Moscow clearly depicted back and to the right of the frame of the cartoon.
