GOOD NEWS! Arlen Specter
Heading to Certain Defeat
posted at 3:16 pm on June 27, 2009 by The Other McCain
Once you’ve proven you can’t be trusted, not even becoming a Democrat can save your hopless RINO butt:
Sen. Arlen Specter continues to pick up support from Democratic party leaders across Pennsylvania. However, a new poll indicates that the five-term incumbent has not convinced a majority of Pennsylvania voters that he should be re-elected.
According to a new Franklin & Marshall poll released Thursday, only 28 percent of registered voters in Pennsylvania think Specter should be re-elected.
That number is down from 40 percent in March, a month before Specter’s “conversion” to the Democratic Party. . . . The poll also showed that Specter’s “excellent” or “good” job approval rating declined from 52 percent in March to 34 percent in June.
Specter’s new Democratic “friends” will repay the selfish crapweasel for his treachery — he’ll lose to Sestak in the primary — and meanwhile, conservatives will unite behind Pat Toomey.

I’ll believe it when I see it…

The best part is that Obama attached himself to this sinking ship when he agreed to campaign and raise money for Specter. It’s not going to look good when Dem primary voters reject Obama’s guy.

I clicked on the Donate to Pat Toomey website. Who’s that man photographed with him? He looks like a drag queen. If Toomey is trying such an innovative approach to get the gay vote, he has my vote, but I still think drag queenishness is tacky.

Hmmm.
Good that this crapweasel is going down to ignominious defeat.
Bad that the gutless D.C. Repubs supported his sorry ass last time around.
I wish we could put a statue of Arlen outside the Senate as a reminder to other wobbly Repubs.

God tell us not to get revenge. He says that is his department. But oh how sweet it is when you see someone like this “crap weasel” getting his just reward! I am sooooo loving this!

That was cruel. It would appear that is his wife, hence what looks to be a wedding band on HER finger.
Granted, it is probably not the best picture they could have put up, but to assume such a thing is rather off base.

I think the expiration date on that commitment has passed already. Obammy doesn’t do anything for anyone who cannot help Obammy. A lot like Clinton in that regard…or any Democrat for that matter.

I suppose my statement is cruel, but comments on photos on campaign websites are fair shots. In theory, Toomey’s website should be well-vetted and the picture of his wife should be one she could proud of, instead of one which invites cheap shots.
On the other hand, the photographs put up here and on leftist websites of politicians looking their absolute worst are both cruel and unfair.

Good riddance, Arlen. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

The guy is 80 years old and he’ been there 30 freakin years. Enough is enough, who cares what party he’s in this week.

This guy should have been gone long ago. This is the bastige who suggested the “magic bullet theory” of the JFK assasination. Seriously, this pile of Spector has only been for Arlen. Throughout his career it has always been for his three most important people. Me, myself & I. It is a close nit group of fella’s at an all you can eat buffet from the government “pig trough”. From first becoming elected as a representative from the state of PA to his present demise. Peace be with you Mr. Magic Bullet Theory. Only Oliver Stone could top him on that pile of BS insinuation of a conspiracy. Karma for A Spector came some 40 odd years too late IMO.

There isn’t even anything to respect about the man. It’s one thing to switch parties to better reflect a consistency of principle but Specter openly admitted that he was leaving the GOP because he knew he was toast in the next election. Apparently, and as hard as it is to believe, even Democrats seem to have their limits when it comes to this kind of gross lust for power.
