GOP = DEAD. The GOP has cooperated with the Dems in the expansion of government power, the culture of corruption, and in selling their self-aggrandizing program to the voters rather than listnening to what the voter’s have to say.

I hope Palin runs in 2012 as an Independent. The stench of the rotting elephant corpse cannot possibly help her.

Looking forward to the next teaparty. There are always a lot of GOP operatives in attendance – you can spot them by the sneers that pass for smiles and the precious little GOP brochures they hand out. I love unloading on the bastards. I especially love it when the rest of the real people join in the fun.

Where the hell do you get that opinion? Cool you throwing down the standard leftist tactic of stating the absurd as a given.

Of course Newt knew. Until someone proves otherwise I suggest he ordered it. To think a man of his prominance isn’t orchestrating his appearances is naive or, in Patrick’s case, probably a collegial tip of the hat.

I’m sick of conservatives feigning stupidity to maintain proper ettiquette. It’s time to call it as it is. This was a power play by the old beltway boys to stomp on the disstaff rube from Alaska. More ominous these pigs don’t give a damn about losing her fundraising potential. They’re more interested in keep the GOP in their grasp than saving the country or winning back the majority.

I find it incredibly short-sighted and bordering on political malpractice for the NRCC to do anything but harness her energy and the dollars her persona brings to the table.

Bordering on… malpractice? The only way it isn’t malpractice is if you think the NRCC’s main objective is to set a baseline so low that anything else it does – including mass seppuku – looks like an improvement.

Palin has a magnetism that can’t be learned. She draws a crowd because people want to see and hear her; not the latest RNC talking points (which are a little abstract at this particular time). And, that is even with the constant attacks coming from the liberal media and even those within her party that cling to the old boys club mentality.

Gingrich could be a very valuable player in 2010 and 2012 in an advisory capacity, but he ain’t the one to meet the challenge in 2012.

sarah Palin is a fun candidate for sure, but she is not the right person to head up the Republican party.

The Republicans need to be working on crafting the best words to articulate the consevative message. The Democrat party is the one for rinos, and the conservative message should be reinforced not watered down.

The fragmented people should be attracted to the unifying message,not the message scattered to chase the fragmented people. A rifle shot, not a scatter gun shot.

Well, the fastest way this idiots at the NRCC will get a clue is when we all return their postage paid envelopes for fund raising with ZERO dollars to them and a copy of the receipt we print as we donate to Sarah’s PAC. Nuff said. I don’t think they would be dissing someone in her position if that person was a man, either. Their is a lot of misogyny, however potentially unintended, in their behavior. It disgusts me. And I voted for that idiot Cornyn when I lived in TX and donated to his campaign. No more. I am only donating to the primary opponents directly who promise to stop this insane spending.

Even conceding that the fault lies entirely at Sarah’s end, how can GOP treat a sitting governor this way? Trash talk behind her back? This is not even her competitors but NRCC which is supposed to stay neutral. Why is it training it fire on Palin? These wusses refuse to say a negative word about Obama but she is fair game I guess.
