According To The Left

posted at 2:36 pm on June 2, 2009 by

It’s interesting, what the left finds worthy of outrage.

Acceptable terms: Christianist, Christian Fundamentalist Terrorism, Forced Birther
Unacceptable terms: Islamist, Islamic Terror, Jihadi, Terrorist

Good: Bank protesters, even when bank protesters routinely cause tens of thousands of dollars in vandalism all over the world.
Bad: Abortion protesters, who are regulated and litigated to a fare thee well.

Good: ACORN sending protesters out to AIG executive’s “lavish” homes.
Bad: Sending news producers out to “ambush” newsworthy abortionist at home.

Good: Malkin Watch (link to WaPo article that mentions it, not the site itself)
Bad: Tiller Watch

Good: “therapeutic abortion” which George Tiller used to end the lives of thousands of human babies.
Bad: Young men and women who are legally of age, voluntarily enlisting in the armed forces.  (The left routinely describes these adults as “babies.”)

Understandable dissent: Weather Underground’s planned and actual acts of domestic terrorism
Possibly (or at least should be) A Crime: Bill O’Reilly’s “jihad” against George Tiller

Associated: everybody who has ever said they do not approve of abortion on demand is required to disavow Tiller’s murderer and condemn this crime.  Failure to do this means you tacitly approve of his murder.  Making any comment about Tiller’s line of work which does not infer he was heroic for doing it means you tacitly approve of his murder.
Not associated: Barack Obama has no connection whatsoever to the acts of Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground or the words of Jeremiah Wright that Obama sat in the pew and listened to for twenty years.  Unless he specifically says he agrees with those men and all their/his fellow travelers on any given topic, he is presumed to disagree.

Chickens coming home to roost: 9/11
Unreserved, inexcusable evil: George Tiller’s murder

Not be confused with a right-wing extremist, I personally hope that the thousands of Tiller-aborted souls were waiting…
…and pissed off.

I’m pretty sure that’s not how heaven works, BK. YMMV, though. 😉
