I didn’t realize the classic Girl Scouts organization required such a radical change. I thought they were doing just fine based on the attitudes of the girls who would sell cookies. This is where my conservative streak comes out. I don’t like to see classical institutions corrupted. Change for the sake of change is irrational.

I wonder if some groups could keep going with the old materials. I imagine many of the leader-moms would like it that way. Many of them will likely be unhappy with the ‘updated’ books.

My daughter is a Brownie, and will cross over to junior girl scouts in a couple of weeks. I haven’t noticed anything too wonky in her books/materials. The adults involved are typical moms who give up A LOT of their time.

My daughter is going to a GS week-long camp this summer, the same she went to last year.

WorlNetDaily can get pretty breathless sometimes… But I will keep a closer eye on what’s going on…

Conservative parents need to stand up and remove their children from the public school system. It is time for parents to band together to educate their children. Kindergarten is the time for play dough and paste and phonics not for sexual indoctrination.

It’s very sad. I was a Brownie and GS. I forgot to include a picture.

The updated GSA has gone so far past everyday political correctness into utter radicalism. I wonder if they’re worried about this backfiring.

My wife and I have been involved in the Cub Scout & Boy Scout programs for over a decade now. We cherish these programs and the teachings-lessons they bring to our young boys-men.

We have dear friends who have all daughters, and have been involved in the Girl Scout program for over a decade. Our friends pulled back from scouting a few years back for the reasons you have articulated in this piece.

Infiltrated from within!
