When In Doubt, Try ‘Hypocrisy!’

How absurd has the CARRIE PREJEAN NUDE non-scandal become? Consider that the woman who alerted the media that the Miss California pageant paid for Prejean’s breast implants, Shanna Moakler, was Playboy magazine’s 2001 Playmate of the Year. And goodness gracious, we know how much Hugh Hefner hates breast implants!
But wait, it gets better. Carrie Prejean supposedly hates gay people, right? So why was she so happy to have her photograph taken with New York transsexual icon Amanda Lepore?
You might see this photo and think, “Well, see there? Obviously, she does not hate gay people at all. The accusation of ‘homophobia’ is transparently false.” Ah, but you are not a gay-rights fanatic like Andy at Towelroad, who sees this photo as evidence of conservative hypocrisy!
“Hypocrisy” is the default accusation when liberals get tired of screaming “Nazi” at the top of their lungs. However, never try to fight fire with fire by accusing a liberal of “hypocrisy.” That only proves that you’re a Nazi.
