So far, it seems like Carrie Prejean is the real deal. She’s a little too convincing to be a set-up. Judging by the quality of the trolls we’ve gotten on Hot Air, the liberal enthusiasm for astroturfing is not matched by their aptitude.

Is the Christian Church in America ready for this?

I have enjoyed your writings in The Green Room.

Like you, I am agnostic regarding whether the conspiracy theory is true or false.

Your article above raises some alarming questions.
If the conspiracy theory is true, I would not be suprised.

I don’t pretend to know the heart of Carrie Prejean.

But I do know that the Christian Church in America needs spiritual revival, starting with me.

Those who claim to profess allegiance to the throne of Jesus Christ need to fully understand what that means, and what that does not mean.

When the Christian sub-culture decides to return to the Scriptures, and jettison the cultural flirting with fame, popularity, success syndrome, numerical church growth obsession, money, power, etc and return to the Scriptures, then and only then will spiritual revival break out in our land.

And God will be glorified in our midst.

Being anti-gay marriage does not mean being anti-gay.

I know that; I was just using shorthand jargon. But try telling gays that opposing same-sex marriage isn’t “anti-gay.”

How is it, my tipster wonders, that Prejean could have been so anti-gay all this time without pro-gay Lewis knowing about it?

Interesting theory, but the data points (choice of church, college, etc.) don’t indicate it has a high probability of accuracy.

I instead think that this is wishful thinking to get her off the page because of the danger of the worm turning.
