If only we could have gotten some of the stink from the Democratic corruption past the MSM gatekeepers, the defections might have been prevented. We have to keep up the pressure on Murtha, Dodd, Frank, Rangel, and the other “public servants” who are feathering their nests and scoffing at the laws they have passed to burden the rest of us.

That will likely be a painful lesson, but only marginally more painful than it was going to be with Specter in the GOP caucus — so perhaps it is a lesson better learned sooner than later.

So true. Holding Specter’s feet to the fire was a Sisyphean task.
