I fear that the change Obama has in mind for America in the next few years will be so fundamental that there will be no going back. America will never be the same again.

Republicans may very well sweep back into power but they will do so in very different circumstances than today. And then, come next election time we’ll hear from the media 24/7 about how all those problems that Obama and the Dems caused were actually the fault of the new Republican administration. You know how it works…

Riddle me this. Even in places like Detroit, California, New York, New Jersey — where liberalism is tried and fails on a spectacular scale — the Democrats never get voted out.

Why won’t this dynamic play out nationally? The country has changed – about 10M more illegals, a whole generation of know-nothings indoctrinated in our colleges and new Boomers becoming entitlement recipients every day. Why won’t they continue to vote themselves rich with other peoples’ money?

Good analogy – Barry is corrupting the OS so the solution is a whole
new puter with a clean OS.

Once China & India shake it off then we will see
a real decline in US GDP and the stock market should tank
and not recover in time for Obama ver2.

Obama will be able to pass another MASSIVE “stimulus”
with Arlen on board the Barry express to hell.

The first “stimulus” is not doing anything and all it will
do is grease the skids for all those “stimulus” receipents
to give back to the democratic party. The UAW is on track
to become Barry’s biggest source of “washed cash”.

There have always been and will always be both ants and grasshoppers ala Aesop. The curve is sadly shifted to the grasshopper side right now, but that is unsustainable.

Our options now are to:
1. Constantly point out their excesses and incompetence to everyone who will listen.
2. Rally behind the good causes.
3. Boycott the cheerleading MSM and their sponsors.
4. Get busy finding and vetting exceptional GOP leader(s) for the next election cycles.

We can do this.

Most economists are predicting that U.S. job losses will continue at least into spring of 2010, and possibly longer. If that turns out to be the case, it doesn’t bode well for Democratic candidates in the 2010 elections.

How many Americans will have to die before we realize how shortsighted and tunnel-visioned this administration and congress really is?

1977-78 was just before 51 Americans got to enjoy the luxuries of Iranian prisons for over a year, while eight servicemen were killed in an ill-conceived rescue attempt.

If history is repeating itself, then we have some trouble ahead on the international front.

Obama is sassy! Everything he does is sassy! It’s utterly ridiculous to me that he can double the national debt and no one cares.

(The problem right now is that, on the inflation curve, we’re only at about 1967 when it took 13 more years for the stuff to hit the fan with the spending policies of the late 60s and 1970s. Obama’s massive spending bills are going to put those timetables into hyperspace, but until you get past the hypothetical into the real, and people start seeing the price of everything far surpass whatever wage increases occur, you’re not going to get a lot of voters to comprehend what the problem is with Barack’s plan, because most of those voters were either not born or under the age of 10 the last time it happened.)

I agree. That is my concern.

Activist judges, fast tracking more entitlement programs, pork-laden bills, trojan horse initiatives, taking over the census and reorganizing representation, voter fraud, card check, national security threats, opening ourselves up to major external threats, legalizing, essentially, the entire Mexican Flu. I mean, seriously…they can do some damage.
