One Gosh Darn Irony after Another with This Obama…

The irony?
Well, highlighted in the article is Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s ending consulting contracts to create new seals and logos that, Obama said, have cost the department $3 million since 2003.
Seals and logos?
But, seriously, folks, eliminating a paltry $3 million from DHS, which has a FY 2009 budget of $50.5 billion. And a FY 2010 that is expected to go even higher? That’s a tough choice?
This is new toughness and making tough choices in light of a $787+ billion stimulus plan and his $3.6+ trillion budget proposal?
The overall irony? Obama is calling for American families to do with less while Obama and government are doing with more and plan to do more with even more.
Has anyone explained to this Administration that one cannot spend one’s way out of debt?
My recommendation? Pay attention to the Tea Parties.
Then pay attention to common sense.
For Obama, that would be a tough choice.
This is no longer the South Side of Chicago, in the baddest part of town…
This is the United States of America. Abuse it and we all lose it.

The only choice Zero is offering America is to suck it up.
After all, he won.

Obama cites that as a tough choice?
That’s ridiculous. He must think all of America is as clueless as those who voted for him.

Whatever happened to stimulus? Creating a new logo is as shovel-ready a money pit as any transit project. Think of all the starving graphic artists this boondoggle could employ!
