PHOTOS: Chicago Tea Party

Taken by Kristina Rasmussen. Pretty sure this is the Party where some group called “CNN” (?) had its reporter lecture the crowd. I think they’re a cable channel. Meh. Amateur hour either way.

I love the sign that just says, “THE CHANGE SUCKS”

Thank you. The Barney Frank one was inspired.

What a great rally! We were on the other side of the plaza. Did you hear an estimate on the crowd?

Great pictures, I was there and had a great and peaceful time and was so glad to see the sun finally come out.

Does anyone have a headcount for Chicago yet? Very little coverage on the local news.

BTW, I never saw CNN anywhere. Did they get scared off?

Based on the video, CNN was on the side by the orange sculpture. I was with a group that was opposite of that behind the small stage by the street. Someone in my group saw a Channel 5 crew, but I didn’t see any news outlet.

I’m so glad it was finally warm and didn’t rain on us.

It was a very encouraging rally. So many excited people, even in Obamaland.
