Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

With the US sending a naval task group to the shores of Syria to possibly launch military attacks against the Assad regime and a meltdown of our Arab Spring strategy in Egypt, one might think that the Sunday talk shows might be more focused on foreign policy than usual today.  Instead, most of the talk will revolve around yesterday’s march on the Mall in Washington to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech and the status of civil rights in America now. Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), one of the last of the original activists of that period, only misses the full Ginsburg today because Fox News Sunday isn’t covering it at all — choosing instead to talk about Syria with two Capitol Hill leaders on foreign policy, plus a look at the thrill killing in Oklahoma involving three teens, two of whom are black, which seems like a rather odd choice given the proximity to the demonstration yesterday.  ABC will update viewers on Egypt and Syria with Martha Raddatz live in Cairo, but the best mix looks like CNN’s State of the Union, which will have Ted Cruz and Jim DeMint along with Howard Dean and Lewis, and a roundtable on Syria.
