The Ed Morrissey Show: Timothy Dalrymple, John Wohlstetter

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), our friend Kevin McCullough won’t be able to make it due to a scheduling conflict.  Instead, we will explore the intersection of faith and politics with Timothy Dalrymple of Patheos, who will talk about his new essay on Palin Enrangement Syndrome.  We’ll also discuss David French’s defense of Sarah Palin, what the Portland Bomber can tell us about how we teach values in the US, as well as some new columnist that Patheos has begun featuring whose name escaped me at the moment.

In the second half of the show, Human Events writer John Wohlstetter discusses his rebuttal to five former Republican Secretaries of State on the START treaty.  Does the treaty actually deliver on non-proliferation and verification while protecting America’s efforts on missile defense?  Wohlstetter explains why this deal won’t stop the Russians from expanding their nuclear arsenal while limiting our ability to defend ourselves against rogue nations.
