Pro-Hamas Zealots at Auschwitz on Holocaust Remembrance Day

There is a level of depravity that proves that evil lies at the heart of a movement.

Many of us already know that the pro-Hamas protesters are not anti-Zionist or anti-war but antisemitic. That's not to say every person protesting the invasion of Gaza hates Jews, but even these "good" people have chosen to side with evil.

Hamas is evil. Siding with Hamas is evil. And mocking Jews on Holocaust Remembrance Days on this day is monstrous.

As Holocaust survivors leave this mortal coil, some of their last experiences will be of the resurgence of hatred toward Jews, exemplified by monsters celebrating the murder of 6 million Jews in concentration camps. And, despite being in Poland, if you notice, some of the signs are in English--tailor-made for the American audience they are appealing to.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators have sparked outrage after staging a protest near the grounds of Auschwitz – as Israelis including October 7 survivors marched to honour victims of the Holocaust.

Sirens wailed as protestors displayed a banner reading 'stop genocide' at groups wearing Israeli flags along the sidelines of the 'March of the Living' event, which brings together thousands annually to observe Holocaust Remembrance Day in silence.

Eyewitnesses claimed protestors were 'chanting' at participants on the march, with Israelis responding with lines from 'Am Israel chai', a Jewish solidarity anthem.

Survivors of Hamas' October 7 incursion into southern Israel were also in attendance as participants marched the two-mile (three kilometre) walk from Auschwitz to Birkenau, where approximately one million Jews were systematically killed by Nazi Germany during the Second World War.

Just last week, distressing footage invoked fury as a man filmed himself walking through the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Auschwitz and saying: 'You belong here. This is your place of origin. You left these camps and ghettos. Long live Palestine.'

Iran "Death to America, Death to Israel" is embracing the student protesters, and with good reason. America alone has the power to pressure Israel to relent, and that pressure is working. Biden, as I wrote earlier today, paused aid to Israel just moments after Congress approved another tranche. Biden used aid to Israel as a bargaining chip to get money for his friends in Ukraine--after all, they funneled millions into his son's pockets--and then shut off the flow of funds that were approved for Israel.

All this in the service of people who stand outside Auschwitz mocking the death of Jews.

The moral perversity of this protest is impossible to exaggerate. Wearing the yellow star outside the March for the Living is...there are no words adequate to describe this. Chanting at Holocaust survivors and their descendants.

What is there to say, except "If you are on the side of these people, you are on the side of the Devil himself."

I think most Americans don't grasp the scale of the evil at this movement's heart. It is not about restoring peace but about waging a war against the Jews.

So many of the protesters are openly declaring their goal of committing atrocities against Jews forever, and yet people have told me that these are a few overexcitable people who are lost in the moment.

Yeah, right. They are demons. They aren't anti-genocide; they want a genocide of the Jews. Hamas keeps repeating that they want to kill Jews, and I am to believe they are harmless or that their apologists are decent, peace-loving people.

No.

There were few hecklers, so I shouldn't blow this out of proportion. I know that. But millions of people around the world are standing next to people displaying swastikas, distributing Hamas propaganda, calling Jews swine, and echoing Nazi propaganda.

That every decent American doesn't condemn these protests angers me. By that, I don't mean that every decent American should support Israel's war policies, although I wish they would. Strategy and tactics are perfectly legitimate areas of debate, and some people believe that war is never justified.

But no decent person should side with evil, and the pro-Palestinian movement is evil. Allying with it is...disgusting.
