OJ and CRT

Marc Lamont Hill is a prominent guy, although you probably haven't heard of him because you aren't a racist Leftist who is glad OJ Simpson got off despite being an obvious murderer.

Lots of people agree with him, though, because they are racist Leftists who think it's fine to kill others as long as you are Black and they are White. Even if one of the White people is the mother of your children.

She was White, after all.

So, who is Hill, and why do we care? After all, random people have random opinions and we shrug it off.

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill is one of the leading intellectual voices in the country.

He is currently the host of BET News, The Grio, Al Jazeera UpFront, and the Coffee & Books podcast. An award-winning journalist, Dr. Hill has received numerous prestigious awards from the National Association of Black Journalists, GLAAD, and the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Hill is a Presidential Professor of Anthropology and Urban Education at the City University of New York Graduate Center. Prior to that, he held positions at Morehouse College, Temple University, and Columbia University.

Now, it's not striking that a Leftist academic is in the corner of a criminal, but openly admitting that you think one of the most prominent murderers of the 20th century should walk free to get back at White people is quite the admission. If you ever worried that CRT advocates were all-in on the idea that it should be open season on White people, Hill has your back.

CRT advocates are all-in on anti-White racism, even when it leads to murder. It is their definition of justice.

Hill is not alone. In an interview with one of the OJ jurors, she freely admitted that the jury acquitted OJ not because they didn't believe he was guilty or because the prosecution hadn't made its case. They did it because OJ killed White people, and acquitting him was a way to get back at Whitey.

We keep on hearing that White racism is a problem, but as far as I know, it has been about a century since any White person would feel free to express such sentiments about Blacks. Moreover, if anybody did say something similar today they would be the ones getting lynched.

Because, well, that is an appalling sentiment. The worst form of racism.

But there is lots of that going around these days. The Biden Administration took weeks to acknowledge the murder of Laken Riley by an illegal immigrant let into the country by Joe Biden, but they jumped at the chance to mourn the loss of OJ.

You have to have your priorities straight, after all. O.J. was a national icon. Laken? An inconvenient storyline.

The irony is that everybody loved O.J. before he decided to kill. He was everywhere, on TV and in movies. He made people smile and symbolized America's progress toward overcoming racism. Younger people may remember O.J. as the guy who got off, but I remember him on the field and in commercials. His IMDB page lists him playing 37 roles. He was a spokesman for Hertz Rent-a-Car for nearly two decades.

Then he killed two people. Everybody knew it. Everybody.

That doesn't matter, though, because acquitting a Black man for murdering two White people helped balance the books of racial justice or something.

Except that those books will never be balanced. If they ever were, an entire industry of racial grievance and the intellectual foundation of the modern American Left would crumble.

The Left doesn't want racism to ever go away. It is their bread and butter.
