Satanic Abortion Ceremonies? Really?!

Few human beings, whatever they think of themselves, are genuinely atheistic.

People may think they have moved beyond it, but as we have seen over the past few years, few people genuinely don’t embrace some faith or another, even if that faith goes by the name “science” or “reason.” In my experience, people who don’t adhere to an organized religion are often more zealous in holding on to their beliefs than those who embrace one.

Look at the mask zealots! The people who embraced Saint Fauci.

So I am not at all surprised to see the TikTok trend of progressives suddenly discovering the Quoran. Nor, I am afraid, am I actually shocked to see that there is such a thing as Satanic abortion ceremonies.

It is a bit surprising to see that a mainstream publication is actually promoting the idea. But then again, as a man in my late middle age I am doomed to be behind the times.

I and others have noticed that for many Leftists, abortion has become something of a sacrament, so there might as well be a Satanic ritual attached to it. And just as the people attracted to the Quoran are doing so because they have a bizarre attraction to the rape, murder, mutilation, and torture that Hamas engaged in on 10/7, abortion worshippers are naturally attracted (apparently) to the death worship inherent in worshipping Satan.

Everything about the Satanic Temple’s abortion services is vile, not the least of which is their name, which implies that Justice Sam Alito’s mother should have killed him in the womb. Nice.

The Satanic Temple isn’t just promoting the killing of unborn babies in abortions anymore. It’s actually killing them through a new “religious” abortion practice in New Mexico.

On Wednesday, the satanic group launched a new “religious medical services arm,” TST Health, to begin doing abortions. The Satanic Temple believes aborting unborn babies is a religious “ritual” and compares it to communion or baptism for Christians.

The name of its first “telehealth” abortion practice doubles as a covert death wish to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the decision that overturned Roe v. Wade last year.

The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic in New Mexico will offer abortion drugs to women ages 17 and up who are up to 11 weeks of pregnancy, according to Fox News. The FDA does not recommend abortion drugs after 10 weeks.

In 1950, Samuel Alito’s mother did not have options, and look what happened,” said Malcolm Jarry, co-founder of The Satanic Temple, in a statement. “Prior to 1973, doctors who performed abortions could lose their licenses and go to jail. The clinic’s name serves to remind people just how important it is to have the right to control one’s body and the potential ramifications of losing that right.”

According to a press release from the group, “anyone in New Mexico seeking to perform The Satanic Temple’s abortion ritual will be able to receive free online medical services.”

That Cosmopolitan magazine should be pushing young women to not only murder their children–what is off-brand about that, after all?–but also to embrace the Prince of Darkness himself is literally demonic.

Whether you believe in Satan or not is irrelevant–the message itself is to embrace the worst in yourself and wallow in self-indulgence.

The ultimate message of Satan, after all, is to worship yourself above all others, as Satan himself did before being cast out. That is what abortion is all about in any case–putting oneself above an innocent child one is to bring into the world.

We cannot escape religion of some sort, because we need to make sense of a fundamentally mysterious world so much larger than ourselves. Even if, in the end, you decide that the true God is only yourself and your appetites.
