Disney partners with PRIDE to develop content for children

Disney is proud to push PRIDE.

Pride is the code word for the alphabet people. It used to be reserved for gays and lesbians but now has become the all-purpose umbrella ideology for everything from doggy fetishists to people pretending to be infants. Sex workers have their own symbol on the new pride flag, and every paraphilia imaginable is being celebrated.

The argument for gay marriage that finally worked, changing the attitude of the whole country, was that by opening up marriage to gays and lesbians they would become integrated into the larger society and adopt the norms and traditions of heterosexuals. Monogamy, stable families, and a lot less practicing of weird sexual fetishes in public.

I never bought the argument that gay marriage would lead to the embrace of traditional values. I always suspected that it was about normalizing “queerness,” not helping queers become more normal. In this I was right, and Andrew Sullivan (the most persuasive advocate of gay marriage I ever read) was dead wrong.

The embrace of gay marriage was not the goal, but merely the first goal. It was the foot in the door, and now we have moved from gay marriage to sexualizing children in just a few years.

Those of us who warned of this were derided, called Neanderthals, and labeled homophobes. I have never been scared of homosexuals in my life. Why would I be? Live and let live. And if there was a problem with homosexuals visiting partners in hospitals, pass a law that created civil unions. Easy.

The slippery slope was not only real but the real point of the exercise. I am pretty sure most gays didn’t understand this any more than I did. It just seemed like inevitable progress, and opponents of gay marriage seemed to them to be directing hate at them, not the alphabet agenda. Perhaps that was true of some, but many of us saw gay marriage as an attack on the family, and we were obviously right.

Governments have been doing everything they can to separate children from their parents. I have discussed many of those attacks, and anybody who claims otherwise is either blind or lying. I won’t list them because I have written many times already about them.

Corporate America is at least as committed to pushing the alphabet agenda. Again the stories are legion, so no need to remind everybody of what by now is an obvious truth. They are willing even to sacrifice their business by insulting their customers.

Disney has been at the forefront of the cultural movement, with their “not-so-secret gay agenda.” They have been at war with Governor DeSantis over his anti-alphabet agenda, sacrificing both their corporate reputation and considerable market cap, because they exist now to propagandize against traditional families.

Disney is the company that parents have always associated with safe and traditional values. Millions of Americans grew up on Disney films and stories. Disney Plus streams into millions of homes, and the Disney Channel was a babysitter for countless children as mom or dad made dinner.

Now it is in the grooming business. Queering your child is their business.

Disney has faced enormous pushback on this agenda, and many people assumed they would relent with the return of Bob Iger as CEO.

This was always a mistake. Iger was the guy who started the push, and his commitment to grooming your child is boundless.

PRIDE’s parent company, equalpride, and Disney have announced a branded content partnership to develop content for advertisers to strengthen representation.

equalpride is one of four diverse-owned media companies partnering with Disney on the initiative. The others are COCINA, a unit of the parent company MECENAS Media; Group Black; and UnitedMasters, Inc., parent company of creative agency Translation.

“In 2021, we took a stand and asked that all of our Upfront deals have specific inclusion commitments. Now in year three, we are still delivering on our intention in the way we collaborate with brands – 365 days a year,” John Campbell, SVP, client partnerships at Disney Advertising said in a statement. “These collaborations are a natural extension of our ongoing commitment to reflect the diversity of our audience, the workforce, and the world in which we do business and are part of our multifaceted, long-term approach to intentionally and authentically reach our viewers.”

Disney’s portfolio will help distribute the created content by these companies, working to create authentic ways for brands to connect with diverse audiences.

PRIDE’s parent company will work with Disney to develop short-form miniseries that companies can collaborate on.

There is no reasoning with these people. There is no compromise. Their goal is to destroy American society and bring down the West. They hate you and want you gone.

What is so dispiriting is that they keep announcing their intention to do so, and so few people actually believe us when we point it out. It’s not like they aren’t constantly screaming that they believe Western culture is irreparably White Supremacist, that capitalism is an evil to be eradicated, and that women should be shoved aside in favor of queers. We see it every day.

And yet merely pointing it out is hateful.

The entire political, corporate, and cultural elite tells you that they hate you every day. They are dismantling our education system, shutting down our energy production, and closing farms.

Farms!

I can reliably predict that somewhere in the neighborhood of 50% of the voting population will endorse these policies in 2024. If Republicans win, it will be by the narrowest of margins.

If we don’t vote with our dollars and vote at the polls, all is lost. If we don’t stand up to the bullying, there will be nothing left to defend.

In one of the great and underrated speeches of Ronald Reagan, his inaugural address when sworn in as Governor of California, he warned us:

Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.

Americans are watching their freedom be taken from them, and too many are shrugging. They prefer to be led, coddled, affirmed, and dictated to than fight for their humanity. It is dispiriting.

But the protectors of freedom have always been a minority. The price of freedom is high, and most prefer not to pay it.
