Dan Riehl passed this along. I never know whether to link these things or not: I don’t want traffic from it but even less do I want to decide on people’s behalf what they should and shouldn’t be exposed to. So here it is. If you’ve found yourself feeling desensitized lately to news of beheadings and executions in Iraq, this’ll fix you right up. And then some.
Think of this as the conservative rejoinder to those left-wing photo albums of coffins being offloaded at Andrews AFB. Click the image to watch.
The AP has background. And Jay Stephenson has news about the jihadis’ post-production team.

There’s an old saying that a mad dog doesn’t care whether you like it or not. First appeasing Canada just foiled a plot to blow up Parliament and behead the Prime Minister by ROP fanatics. See? These religious nuts don’t care if you tried to kiss their arse or not. Now, back-handed terrorist ally, Russia, gets 4 embassy workers beheaded by more Muslim “moderates”. Probably, in this case, because Russia recognizes the new Iraqi Government.
The ROP is only good when its members are RIP.

I can tell we’re going to get a few bannings out of this thread.
Allahpundit on June 25, 2006 at 6:59 PM
Thanks for giving us the option. I decided I don’t need to watch. The still is gruesome enough.
fluffy on June 25, 2006 at 7:03 PM
I also decided not to watch.
I have two combat tours from the Army Infantry under my belt. I nearly chucked when I watched Nick Berg.
Thanks, but I’ll pass.
Oh, sorry, kill them all.
Mortis on June 25, 2006 at 7:23 PM
I can’t watch it this time, but if anyone out there has never watched these jihadi snuff films, I recommend doing it at least once. If nothing else, in moments where you doubt the importance of hunting down and killing every last one of these inhuman bastards, you can think back on this and be snapped back to reality. I watched the beheadings of Nick Berg and Eugene Armstrong (via Allah’s old site) shortly after they happened and will never forget those horrifying images and sounds — especially Mr. Armstrong’s awful screams turning into blood-filled gurgles as he died.
The memory of that from 2 or 3 years ago still makes me feel sick, but it also hardens my resolve when faced by misinformed coworkers and friends who swallow the media’s line on Iraq and the WOT as truth, repeating verbatim the pessimistic swill they take as objective reporting. I used to get angry when encountering people like this, but I’m a bit more compassionate now. I try to remember that for some people, this new world we’re in is hard to face. It’s hard to grasp that having our heads sawn off is the fate these animals want for all of us “infidels.” As uncomfortable as it is, though, the more people in free nations face this fact, the stronger their resolve will be to defeat the Islamists.
Sadly, some would go so far in their denial and fear of this dark reality that they would rather excuse even this a desperate act by a poor, downtrodden group of rebels fighting an unjust occupying force than calling it what it is: pure evil. And an evil that must be defeated.
insomni on June 25, 2006 at 7:25 PM
I won’t watch it. Because I don’t need to. Perhaps people like Nick Berg’s Dad, Polosi and the Washington Left might need a refreshed as to why we need to win this war.
Here’s my take: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-0gD29sMto
Joe on June 25, 2006 at 7:31 PM
I’m going to pass on watching as well, having watched videos of the beheadings of Nick Berg and Eugene Armstrong. That being said, nothing wrong with linking it here - those that are in denial about what our enemy is capable of and willing to do (happily so) might want to consider watching to disabuse them of any notion to the contrary.
The Murthanoids ought to watch this as well. Even if every accusation thrown at a Marines was absolutely true, such actions would pale in comparison to what is shown in these beheading videos.

No one from MSM cover the severe uprising of Islam terrorism along the Russian borders! It is on going but no one report it!
And them Russians helped Saddam to build up the n shipped away his WMD! Now the Russians are helping Iran to build up their missle and nuclear capability! What is so hilarious is that they are pretending to talk the Iranians out of it.
These guys are so crazy they they deserved to be wiped out.
I think the East Europeans would love to see that happen too.
easy87us on June 25, 2006 at 7:37 PM
Dear God, when will the rest of the world wake up and realize what we are up against?! I am very much familiar with the liberal mindset and with the attitude that if you appease, they will go away. Still, I remain stupefied that we are made out to be Satan’s minions for Abu Ghraib and the world snores when these evil demons behead non-combatants in the name of religion and the ultimate goal of being the earth’s overlords.
Bellicose Muse on June 25, 2006 at 8:00 PM
/sarcasm on
I’m not sure about the concerns being expressed here. The MSM has assured us that violence in videos does no harm (as long as the violence is linked to profits) and that a beheading is the equivalent of a prank involving panties. After all, Rep. Murtha tells me that the US troops are the real threat. These insurgents just need to explain on Dr Phil how their inner child was threatened by the strong patriarcial evil of Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld.
/sarcasm off
This is evil. This is the enemy. The system of Islamofascism must be destroyed. It cannot be stopped by Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan.
mkstach on June 25, 2006 at 8:22 PM
So whenever you see something and don’t post it, you’re deciding on other people’s behalf what they should and shouldn’t be exposed to? What a burden of responsibility.
Donnah on June 25, 2006 at 8:37 PM
Ha. I’m talking about stuff that would be posted but for its squeamishness value. If I decide not to expose people to stuff because it’s boring or stupid, then I’m just saving you time.
What can I say? I’m a helper.
Allahpundit on June 25, 2006 at 8:46 PM
I was thinking, “Damn, I must be burning the library of Alexandria with all the stuff I don’t post.”
Donnah on June 25, 2006 at 8:49 PM
I hope we don’t catch the terrorists behind this act. No instead, I hope the KGB manages a way to snatch these animals up. I have a feeling that their treatment in Russian hands would make anything we Americans could inflict pale in comparison.
tommy1 on June 25, 2006 at 8:49 PM
Why do these murderers always cover their faces?
US troops dont wear masks.
Uh, Cong. Murtha. . . perhaps you’d like to comment.
Labamigo on June 25, 2006 at 9:02 PM
OH. . . POWERLINE has a link where you can contribute to Murtha’s opponent. I didnt give W any money in 2004, but I gave some to this lady.
Labamigo on June 25, 2006 at 9:03 PM
I clicked on the link, then stopped the download. I watched the Nick Berg video, and that was enough for me. I honestly do not have much hope that liberals will ever understand the nature of the threat against us. Many of them are too invested in willful, Bush-hating ignorance to take an honest look at the murderers their inaction would empower.
Slublog on June 25, 2006 at 9:33 PM
I can’t bring myself to watch any of these beheadings that have found their way onto the internet. Behead the jihadi and I’ll watch.
Perchant on June 25, 2006 at 10:56 PM
Hey! When they are torturing, or beheading, or both they are just exorcising their freedom of speech which is promised them in the Liberal Terrorist Bill of Rights, right? It isn’t as if someone was taking a Bible to school or something.
Look. I too feel the outrage and will back military action against such actions, but where is Europe, and/or Russia on this? I do not see them fighting the good fight, and I blame that on liberal political correctness. If my position isn’t clear then let me try stating it this way. If Russia doesn’t care then why should I?
It was President Bush who had the stones to ‘prosecute’ [that politically correct word stinks] this war, and America backed him at the time. While I have my disagreements with Bush I continue to back him in this Herculean task as do the majority of our Heroes, but my advice to the Europeans is to get off of the pot or get your business done. We freedom lovers are on a mission and if you don’t have the backbone to lend a hand then get the @#!! out of the way.
Um, no slight meant against the Brits unless those are liberals too. ;o)
Addendum. I am very grateful for being allowed to post in this wonderful Blog. I try to follow the rules here, and if I am kicked off it will be for stating my beliefs. I can live with that.
BTW, can someone send me an e-mail addy to where I can request permission to use the wonderful graphics found at Ms. Malkins web site? Those often make the point much better than I am able to.
DannoJyd on June 25, 2006 at 11:27 PM
Serves Russia right for sending troops into Iraq. Huh, what do you mean Russie did not send troops into Iraq? The only reason they hate “us” is because of going into Iraq.
hadsil on June 25, 2006 at 11:33 PM
Strange how they would attack their Russian allies. I’m thinking there is at least a 30% chance that this is a Moscow produced hoax to give the impression they are working with the good guys.
Perchant on June 26, 2006 at 2:17 AM
Add me to the list of those choosing not to watch. I have an imagination. I can envision the fear and terror those poor bastards experienced before the “freedom fighters” violated them on video.
I don’t think most of us here need to see it. But frankly, they ought to be playing this stuff on the nightly news, every single night. Liberals desperately need to watch; most of the public needs to see.
God bless those men.
As for their cowardly tormentors, those small little creatures I’d laugh at but for the effects of their mindless stupidity … well, maybe there’s a silver lining. If world history teaches us anything from the last century … its that getting the Russians angry isn’t a very good idea. Ask a German old enough to remember the Russian arrival in Berlin what he thinks of pissing off Russians.
Perhaps this tragedy will get the Russians’ attention. It’s almost a shame the old Soviet Union is gone. I think they’d know how to handle this sort of thing.
Professor Blather on June 26, 2006 at 7:52 AM
Perchant: Apparentely you haven’t heard of the war in Chechnya and the various terrorist acts associated with it. The Chechen “militants” are definitely not allies of Russia. The Russians aren’t faultless in that mess either, but I’d still be more likely to side with them than the perpetrators of the Beslan massacre, in which 344 civilians were killed, including 186 children. This video wasn’t a Moscow-produced hoax.
insomni on June 26, 2006 at 8:50 AM
These weak “Jihadis” need to be drawn and quartered and then displayed in front of the rest of their unimportant bretheren.
Death to them all.
COWARDS.
Kramer on June 26, 2006 at 8:58 AM
Blather: See the links above. The Russians have been “pissed off” about Chechen terrorists for quite a while (the demographics of Chechnya are also informative: they’re mostly Sunni Muslim). As to your comment about it being “almost a shame the old Soviet Union is gone,” I can’t agree. Nothing could make me wish for that back, even half-heartedly. My wife grew up in the USSR and I can still see the effects it had on her family.
insomni on June 26, 2006 at 8:58 AM
Kramer, that would not stop them. Death is the passage to heaven. Perhaps cutting them off from heaven would work. Bulets dipped in pig blood, or placing dead pigs with the terrorist… That may work. I have read rumors of Pershing stopping the philipine muslims like that.
The primary goal of war is to make the other side not want to fight. Killing a terrorist or his family will not do it. Torturing them will not do it. As far as they are concerned that is the way to heaven. You can not change their ideology. So the only thing I can see doing is prevent them from going to heaven. Use their religeon against them to damn them. When they know that heaven is closed to them or their families they may think twice about being terrorist. Or maybe not.
Wyrd on June 26, 2006 at 9:14 AM
And THERE you have it!
THE “religion of peace“.
NRA4Freedom on June 26, 2006 at 9:42 AM
The act of cutting enemy’s head off is condoned by 8:12 of their Holy Book.
So if we want peace, all we need to do is to have the entire nation, or better, the entire world to convert to Muslim.
There is no other choice,…except….
easy87us on June 26, 2006 at 10:00 AM
My understanding is that Iran & Russia have a gentlemen’s agreement over Chechnya: Iran won’t stir the pot there, in return Russia won’t give them any grief over acquiring nukes and so forth.
But maybe this act of barbarism will focus brains in Moscow and the West on the bigger picture, which is our common danger and enemy.
And maybe I’ll watch the video later. Haven’t decided yet.
dhimwit on June 26, 2006 at 10:09 AM
I also don’t want to watch this. I did see pics of Nick Berg and Eugene Armstrong after they were beheaded, and that was enough for me. It just makes me sick, though, that these jihadis are getting away with it. What cowards, if you are going to be “brave” and kill in this manner, at least have the balls to show your face.
StephC on June 26, 2006 at 10:44 AM
Yes, it’s true: if Chechnya in general and Beslan in particular weren’t enough to get the Russians seriously motivated in the fight against Islamic lunacy, I’m not sure what will do it.
As for the old Soviet Union - I did say “almost.” My point is simply that Stalin and his progeny would have had a rather effective way of dealing with Islamofascists. Ask the German Sixth Army. If you can find a one of the handfuls who survived the Russians when they had their back to the Volga.
What Steph said.
Professor Blather on June 26, 2006 at 11:21 AM
And to think we have people in this country that hate the United States and coddle these puppets of satan.
darwin on June 26, 2006 at 1:00 PM
It better focus Russia’s brains. They should know by now that Islamists are never to be trusted.
thirteen28 on June 26, 2006 at 2:11 PM
insomni,
I do know about that war. Have you heard of the “Ryazan Incident”?
Don’t get me wrong, I’d want war too if I had a terrorist nation on my border. I also believe Putin is a deception artist who wouldn’t be above staging an incident to gain international sympathy for their war or to create the perception that they are more victim than supporter of Islamic terrorism.
Perchant on June 26, 2006 at 4:19 PM
Think about how sick those “people” must be. With minds like that, no wonder the middle east is, has been, and will continue to be the stool hole it is. Now they want amnesty for these creeps. Unbelievable.
