Maybe one of them. I’m underwhelmed.

They’re really getting desperate now.
Anything to wash away the memory of Rove walking free.
JammieWearingFool on June 13, 2006 at 1:57 PM
Hey, click on the link. Use the box seen on the right of that page for anonymous tips. And tell them that there are more plagiarized lines in AC’s book. Or whatever imagination you have, just have fun.
Kokonut on June 13, 2006 at 2:04 PM
So statements of facts are now considered plagarizing? OOOh, I think she used the words ” widow,Liberal and lunatic” also.time to nail her up!!!!
God this is hilarious!
bbz123 on June 13, 2006 at 2:09 PM
Enough of Ann Coulter already!
Has anyone discussed, challenged or argued with counter-evidence the content of her entire book?
The answer is NO.
If not, then please SHUT UP!
That goes to the Left as well as to the Right.
CatholicConservative on June 13, 2006 at 2:14 PM
I found that she also used all 26 letters in the alphabet. My how one can see right through her, literally see right through her.
I once chaired a charity event and attempted to secure Doris Kearns Goodwin as the keynote speaker. She wanted $30,000 plus first class air fare for two + + + and that was after the plagiarism scandal!
This kind of press will make Goldie Legs good for thousands more.
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on June 13, 2006 at 2:18 PM
I’m a little underwhelmed by their evidence myself.
High Desert Wanderer on June 13, 2006 at 2:26 PM
Liberal dilemma:
- Get Rove off the news, Coulter books sell, sell, sell and we are harakiried
- Keep Rove in the news and we are ’screwed’
Oh, and President Bush showed up in Baghdad! After Zarquawi…and all the other significant events.
News from the other side - democrats are meeting and Mr. Kennedy plead guilty. And we don’t know what to do about Mr. Jefferson. Can’t stuff him in a closet…
Entelechy on June 13, 2006 at 2:28 PM
Post “tips” tell them TO (no relation to Terrell Owens though both suck and lie) has lied and refuses to print an apology or retraction. Could also give them “tips” on the Press bashing Marines, or even the CNN still reporting that it was Israeli artillery that hit the beach in Pali when it was a hamas landmine that killed those folks recently. The fun we could all have with that “tip” box.

After extensive scientifical analysisizing, I have determined the second quote weighs the same as a duck and therefore, yes, the witch should burn.
GPE on June 13, 2006 at 2:37 PM
No. Wait. The FIRST quote weighs the same as a duck.
GPE on June 13, 2006 at 2:39 PM
OK, I think I have it all figured out. She used to work for a paper in Maine, right?
JammieWearingFool on June 13, 2006 at 2:43 PM
Dude, I’m certain she stole that quote, no, not that one, that one, from Stuff Jefferson Said (4th Ed..
I’m gonna tell teacher.
Bob Owens on June 13, 2006 at 2:50 PM
I love Ann Coulter.
immigration inspectr on June 13, 2006 at 2:53 PM
The funny thing is, people that hate her the most are reading her book to find errors. HAHAHAHAH. They get the whole message, without realizing it.
clyde on June 13, 2006 at 2:58 PM
Naughty, naughty, Ann! But what about. . .
– Kerry’s BOGUS “war hero” claims
– Jim Murtha’s BOGUS “combat” medals and claims (see these links):
http://www.politicspa.com/FEATURES/baileylttomurtha.htm and also
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewSpecialReports.asp?Page=%5CSpecialReports%5Carchive%5C200601%5CSPE20060113a.html
– AlGore’s claim to have invented the Internet
– Hollywood’s false promises to leave if George Bush is elected
I’m sure you get the idea. . .
ForYourEdification on June 13, 2006 at 3:17 PM
Link to Front Pagemag.com for a great Ann C interview.
birdman on June 13, 2006 at 3:38 PM
I’ll give anyone a pass on a single sentence. It’s not as if she regurgitated whole paragraphs verbatim.
Unable to counter the content of AC’s book, the wingnuts can only assail the the messenger and form of the message.
Pathetic.
inmanjh on June 13, 2006 at 3:44 PM
This is their new hammer against conservatives? Boy are we kicking their asses or what?
Defector01 on June 13, 2006 at 3:47 PM
Attack the messenger, not the message. This is nothing new for the left, remember Paula Jones,”trailor park trash”. No matter who the GOP runs in “08″ the libs will call “stupid”, mark my words, the Dimms are imploding
birdman on June 13, 2006 at 3:58 PM
Did they infringe on copyright laws, by having xeroxed the book - since they will not pay for such ‘trash’?
Entelechy on June 13, 2006 at 4:12 PM
If this were Al Franken instead of man-hands Coulter, you people would be drowning in your own spittle from all the impotent rage.
better off blue on June 13, 2006 at 4:16 PM
Over one sentence? ‘Fraid not, blue.
Allahpundit on June 13, 2006 at 4:18 PM
blue: No one pays any attention to anything Al Franken says.
birdman on June 13, 2006 at 4:22 PM
better off blue, “man-hands Coulter” - and we thought you were open, loving, accepting, nuanced, erudite, for equal treatment and rights, non-differentiating among women, men, transgenders and all others…
Entelechy on June 13, 2006 at 4:27 PM
Has anyone even bothered to read Franken to fisk him? It never seemed to me that it would be worth the effort…
Bob Owens on June 13, 2006 at 4:33 PM
Only impotence I see here is Better off Blue.
Come on man, get off the edge of the bed, and quit lying to yourself. “This has Never happened to me before!”
Hell, it happens to you every time you wake up.
If the reference is above your head sorry, nothing I can do.
Wyrd on June 13, 2006 at 4:45 PM
If this is the best the Left can come up with, Blue, you have my sympathies. It must be difficult to be forced to deal with reality.
GT on June 13, 2006 at 4:45 PM
Blue,
I thought I was sponsoring you for Liberals Anonymous. I must not be doing a very good job.
As for the plagarism accusation, my response: ho hum. move on now.
pullingmyhairout on June 13, 2006 at 5:06 PM
So they went through all her books exhaustedly (and they wonder why they keep losing elections) and came up with two press anouncements which are public domain
Going to be a long, funny year, pulling up my lawn chair and buttering the popcorn
EricPWJohnson on June 13, 2006 at 5:19 PM
If that is the standard, LOL! Looks like we need to lock up every major news writer! What a joke!
Brian on June 13, 2006 at 5:40 PM
I guess democrat politician and MSM “talking points” must be fair game then.
gary on June 13, 2006 at 5:53 PM
I read those quotes and while they are similar they are far from plagarized. Now if she made up something out of whole cloth like say Newsweek or the NY Slimes that would be different.
I hope she didn’t quote anything from those rags or she may get in trouble for lying.
LakeRuins on June 13, 2006 at 7:45 PM
Thisnis my final answer to those conservatives who think Ann is overboard and cruel…
Where were you guys in past two years when these 4 vicious women making a fortune of their husbands dead body?
Yea…you guys now all come out on high moral ground criticizing Ann for having the gut to speak the truth.
OReilly, get over it. You are acting like a Pharisee waiting to nail Ann to the cross. I am sure your Jesus said more provocative things than Ann since he was crucified as a result of his outspokeness.
What a bunch of coward hypocrites….they could not wait to be fair and balanced. In their concept of fair and balanced is to tolerate those widows for over two years without uttering a word against them.
easy87us on June 13, 2006 at 9:17 PM
All the Left has to do is deflect enough attention so that the meat from the book doesn’t get out — for instance, how about a discussion of teacher’s salaries and that argument? How about the chapter on letting off the perps? Great stuff and hopefully we’ll get to it eventually.
So far that’s all I’ve read, but its good and if people will read the chapter about the widows, they (you) too can respond to people who want to challenge Ann.
Greg on June 13, 2006 at 10:13 PM
To get back to Allah’s point:
It does look like one needs a references.
For Franken lies check out http://www.frankenlies.com/
Greg on June 13, 2006 at 10:15 PM
Wow Greg, I book marked that link, good stuff.
I’ve also noticed better off blue is winding down on the rhetoric displayed in some of her previous posts. Must be exhausting harboring all that festering pus.
This is a non-starter, and something we have all seen before. The leftards are not capable of arguing ideas. Their ideas even sound stupid to them.
So all they got is …”THEY COPIED THAT!!!!”
Well copy this…..”LOSERS!!!”
Geez, you would think they were used to it by now.
Cpilot on June 13, 2006 at 11:53 PM
I bought the book today, and driving home, my Mother (old style more normal liberal) paging through the book said, “She must get death threats.” I would imagine so. What the MSM Leftnuts are missing is that she isn’t being mean just to be mean-the Church of Liberalism is a concept which brings the Left into perspective…and they hate that. Ann is great. I love her books, and read her columns each week.
And this latest snipe at her reminds us of how important it is to make sure that Liberals never have a majority again. Two NJ polititians want to BAN her book in NJ! Is that the totalitarian thinking which we should embrace? Never!
Freedom of Speech is what keeps us from Dhimitude and Naziism.
Keep on Truthin, Ann!
Doug on June 14, 2006 at 12:13 AM
“Great stuff and hopefully we’ll get to it eventually.”
If it doesn’t interest the Today Show weenie host, it probably won’t become a topic of national dialogue.
It’s interesting to watch so many conservative pundits who haven’t taken the opportunity that Coulter afforded them to engage this fight on a very favorable conservative battle ground…instead they try to suck up to the enemy by showing the rats how outraged they are at the messenger.
Yeah, I’ll name names…Hewitt, National Review, O’Reilly, that guy who used to wear the bow tie on crossfire. Usual suspects.
Perchant on June 14, 2006 at 12:18 AM
Christ, if that’s the standard, I think I may have “plagerized” at least two sentences in every college paper I ever wrote, guess I was dodging bullets with every professor that was interested in independent critical thought rather than whether or not every word in the paper was “my own.” But as CatholicConservative pointed out, this way they don’t have to address her thesis.
MacLachlan on June 14, 2006 at 12:59 AM
In her own manner, Ann Coulter prefectly mirrors the tactics of the left in exposing them. A brillant move from a brillant woman.
LewWaters on June 14, 2006 at 1:29 AM
It is my opinion that the Liberals blew their wad attack Ann over the Jersey Girlz comments, and now that they’ve actually had someone sit down and read the book their realizing how screwed they are.
The rest of the book is FAR more damaging to the Libtard Paradise than the ONE PAGE reserved for the Jersey Girlz.
Mortis on June 14, 2006 at 6:55 AM
Personally, I think we should contact Sen. Biden and request he start an investigation into Ann’s alleged plagiarism.
GT on June 14, 2006 at 7:25 AM
Who is Al Franken? I flunked history in college.
Wade on June 14, 2006 at 8:41 AM
well, i guess i’m going to have to buy her book. it’ll make a good beach read…
pullingmyhairout on June 14, 2006 at 9:43 AM
Great idea, Kokonut. It has put a smile on my face today.
When did Fishbowl become part of the vast right wing conspiracy? They are causing people to buy Ann’s book which will result in the public outing of many liberal fallacies. Well, I can live with that…
There cannot ever be enough of Ann. :o)
