I linked on Friday when they said Rove had been told he’d be indicted. I’m linking now to their follow-up from Saturday, which claims the indictment has since been issued.
Earlier today, both the American Thinker and Byron York of NRO called B.S. Moran has the links and analysis.
One way or another, someone’s going to eat a crap sandwich on this. And Allah’s going to enjoy watching. Heh.
Update: Matt Drudge asks Truthout what kind of bread they’d like for their crap sandwich. Johnny Dollar has audio.
Update: Seixon sniffs around and detects eau d’ Larry Johnson in the air. Larry Johnson promptly shows up in Seixon’s comments and calls him a moron.

A crap sandwich? No, I see a bold new story for Leopold to cover: A crow eating contest.
Carvin Guitar Man on May 14, 2006 at 11:20 PM
Leopold has claimed that he has doubled sourced his informaion. And he has said he will expose his confidential sources if they are wrong.
In addition there is the business of Rove quietly canceling his monday AEI speech.
Who knows? Maybe this is Rove putting out disinformation to defuse things for when he eventually gets indicted.

There would be a lot more information out there if this was true…

In the silly putty world of Washington politics, anything can be true, or accepted as true, and entire agendas can begin from the acorn-sized little falsehoods. One reason that Bush and Rove are still in place is they know that as President, Bush has to remain squeaky clean-the Dems would be calling for impeachment if he jaywalked across Pennsylvania Avenue. He wouldn’t dare step out of line with the entire Democratic party and Main Stink Media gunning for him. That’s why Dems and Media have to create lies-they can’t handle the truth, that President Bush, with all of his human faults, has been a fine President. And has scrupulously colored within the lines, been careful not to give the dingos anything substantive to rip him apart over.
What do you think of Jeb Bush for Episode III of the Bush Dynasty? Democrats may disapprove.

Yeah I see this nonsense purely as “maintenance”… they have to keep these moonbats happy with some news they can talk about, or else they’ll really go off the deep end.
I think it’s about time for some new news about the Downing Street Memo… and Abu Grab seems to be needing another photo spread soon too.
They’ve got to keep the lunatics happy with something other than a Colbert Comedy Shtick, by making them think there’s impeachment just around the corner. Thank God KKKarl Rove can keep them busy. I fear It’s going to be a long summer of this pathetic stuff.

Going to be alot of Prozac refills for the Leftards today!
Yes, yes, an ad hominum attack. How else to treat the loonies? They live in a fantasy land.

Doug, as much as I like Jeb, there needs to be someone else for awhile. Jeb would have all the ’sins’ (which I would call virtues, for the most part) of his brother visited upon him. Maybe 2016, depending on other things.
Personally, I still wish Condi would run. Nobody else out there will have a smoother continuation of the War on Terror as she would, and that is the most essential issue for ‘08.
Mike O on May 15, 2006 at 9:49 AM
I don’t suppose it’s possible somebody just likes to pull the moonbats’ chain? Sweet!

“Nobody else out there will have a smoother continuation of the War on Terror as she would, and that is the most essential issue for ‘08.”
I have this sick recurring premonition that we’re going to be hit again just before the ‘08′ election and all the dims will be dancing with delight. I hope to God I’m just having paranoid bad dreams.

This whole ridiculous episode has been HILARIOUSLY documented in my latest Blog edition.

Either Rove is deliberately teasing with fresh hints of Fitzmas, only to watch the moonbats unwrap another empty box, or he’s trying to conceal the fact of the upcoming indictment so he can work his evil designs right up to the last minute. Or he’s distracting them with what they think is under the handkerchief, while working a little sleight-of-hand right under their unsuspecting noses…It’s maddening, I tell ya!

With all due respect to Doug, Jeb Bush would be a disaster as a candidate and even more so as President.
“No new taxes” “Read My Lips” “Secure Borders and No Amnesty”
The Bush family barely pays lip service to the things that are important to Conservative voters. Why would any Conservative with half a brain give them a third shot?????
America1st on May 15, 2006 at 2:15 PM
Third times a charm? Alternative is worse?
I don’t see any reason to reject him out-of-hand. That would be discrimination by virtue of association.
Hardly a conservative ideal.
Chuck@PodunkOutpost on May 15, 2006 at 2:43 PM
Oh come on, this is simple. The MSM has been getting away with reporting manufactured innuendo as “news” for decades. Truthout’s just following the trend.

I will be so glad to see Rove arrested…
He has destroyed the conservative movement with GWb

FLASH!!! Here is the LATEST with this AMAZING story! William Rivers Pitt posted a drunken hate message on the Democrat Underground against Skinner who runs that leftwing forum. The message was quickly deleted but not before it was copied and pasted over at the leftwing Daily Kos. What makes this posting really AMAZING is that Pitt now reveals Joe Wilson to being a source on this bogus story. Either Pitt is lying (not surprising) or Joe Wilson is so desperate to get at Rove that he has stooped to peddling fiction to two-bit websites. Check it out:
