Is it really a “debate” if you’ve won before you speak? Click to listen. Note: edited for brevity.
Here’s Michelle’s piece at FrontPage from 2003 about MEChA and the Cruz Bustamante connection. Here’s the group’s Wikipedia page.
Hannity & Colmes will lead with immigration tonight. Tune in to Fox at 9.

A good audio to listen to.

Michelle’s breathless opponent shreaked and blamed the United States for Mexico’s economic disaster, she said that when we initiated NAFTA that’s why Mexico has less jobs, we took jobs out of Mexico…
She also said that the United States is based on racism and we are a racist country.
Naturally Michelle (and Sean Hannity) bitched slapped her for those ridiculous and misguided remarks.
Everyone should listen to it for themselves to see what these radicals are trying to do.
And WE MUST contact our senators and representatives and demand they secure our borders and not give in to MEChA!
Please take some time to do it, it does help.
BZ Michelle!

MEChA? More like OWNeD.

Why do I feel that gal was reading out of the Communist Manifesto play book.
What has happened to the political dialogue in this country? The Libs have succeeded in creating their version of Newspeak - illegal immigrants become undocumented workers - Spanish has become the de facto second language of the US - press (2) for Spanish, ad nauseum - terrorists are freedom fighters, privileges have become rights - medical insurance – the expression of our rights have been disconnected from the responsibility to practice them, and the list goes on and on.
If we don’t watch it, this country will be Balkanized and divided up between the Mexicans and the Muslims.

Sedition mean anything anymore? That girl should have her citizenship stripped immediately. Everything she said was a lie but I’m not falling for it. As I always say, “Don’t piss down my neck and call it rain!”

Bush went soft on education and now on this.
Today I took his picture off my wall.
I once thought he had balls.
I was wrong.

In this audio Sean posed the questions: How do we influence Congress? How do we put pressure on the President?
Part of Michelle’s answer was: …to support groups like the House Immigration Caucus…
It was easy to find them with Google. I made the minimum contribution. Not much, but lighting a small candle is better than cursing the darkness.
Your turn

I can’t play it! Woe is me.

You sure that wasn’t Howard Dean in drag?

Sean is a flip flopepr on this - Prior to 9/11 he thought the more the merrier on illegals.

I hope that ringing sound is the alarm clock of our sleeping giant.

Dear Seantor. Either the Illegals go, or you go.
November comes up fast…

How do we influence congress? Find a candidate who has made a clear statement on ridding the US of illegal immigration and put your money and time into their campaign. Look for those running who oppose the amnesty plans and vote for them. There’s little hope in changing the minds of those currently in office; they are lost; they don’t listen to we the people anymore.

Wander, That’s called changing your opinion based on new and important information.

Legal Citizens reported the freeways were clear yesterday and commute times were very short. Many drivers had licenses and auto insurance! There were no waiting lines in the emergency hospitals. Children reported they actually learned something at school with the Spanish speakers staying home I’m going to write to the President, My congressman and Senators about how a day without Illegal Immigrants makes us citizens more productive, healthy and eager to learn! Let our leaders in Washington know we as Citizens can improve our standard of living! Stop Illegal Immigration!

I didn’t no the mayor of Los Angeles once belonged to that organization until I read the link to Michelle’s Frontpage piece from a few years ago. I’m annoyed that this Mexican concept of Aztlan is virtually ignored in coverage of the May 1st demonstratons. I watched NBC Nightly News last night and the Newshour with Jim Lehrer. Nothing.
Thank God for the internet.

I am really scared after hearing that. Seriously. I wonder - do any of our spineless members of Congress read blogs? They should. we are the voice of America, not their opinion polls. The difference between congress and us is that we do not pander and we flush political correctness down the toilet. we are honest and we are practical - both are things that are sorely missing in washington right now. i am so disenchanted by both parties, but will continue to vote republican because it’s the lesser of two evils…
yikes. what a day… i think i’ll go clean the house since my housekeeper didn’t show up.

I think we almost don’t take these illegal immigration activists seriously because we believe that we are such a big country, we can withstand any division, any separatist movement-we all eventually, in the ‘melting pot’-become Americans. Although it may sound like dogma from the 1950’s-the Communists who have been ignored politically for decades never gave up, or assimilated. And now with ANSWER they are happy to be stirring up chaos in the United States-it is the broken up ground they have been looking for to plant their seeds and eventually tear down our America. If a few years ago someone had suggested that the Communists in America would be able to get a million people agitating on American streets, would you have believed it? They wish to channel the discontent of the illegals, who are not in the right, have no legal standing, but may someday be able to vote if they keep yelling long and loud enough.
Just as they joined in denouncing the Bush Administration
for the war on terror-now they wrap themselves in the Mexican flag and demand rights for illegals.
Like the Democrats, their power comes from keeping a populace unhappy with America under the Republicans.

How do we influence our legislators??
Your state or federal legislators obviously cannot read every letter sent to them. But, you can be sure a staffer will, and they are paid to closely monitor constituent mail for opinion. When you write, BE RESPECTFUL, regardless of how you feel. Hateful, threatening or pointless letters will get trashed faster than I change the channel when Howard Dean comes on.
Tell your legislator what your gripe is, and what you would do to resolve your gripe in brief terms. In this case, I would remind your legislator a) you support closed or strengthened borders, b) you expect enforcement of our laws which they swore to uphold. Lastly, inform them they shouldn’t pander to folks who are in our country illegaly as they cannot vote while reminding them that you can.

Heard the clip and was very impressed with our hostess’s poise in her response. She sounded very much more credible than the commie hag. The hag was pointing out how they are entitled to our land, even though she and they hate us, but are proud to be Americans. She sounded to me like some college freshman after finishing her first year of indoctrination from her PolySci prof.
BTW I voted in our Indiana primary election by declaring as a Dim and voting for Julia Carson’s nearest competitor. LOL
