German town bans Syrian refugees from public swimming pool

Things just keep getting better and better in Germany as they deal with a flood of “refugees” of various stripes. Following the massive sexual assaults in Cologne over the holidays, it seems that increasing numbers of Germans are coming to grips with the changes reshaping their nation as the flood of new arrivals settles in. One town in particular has reacted to the criminal behavior of the immigrants by taking the controversial step of banning male asylum seekers from the public swimming pool. (Yahoo News)
A town in Germany has banned male asylum seekers from public swimming pools after complaints from women that they were being harassed by migrants, AFP learnt Friday.
A spokesman for the local government of Bornheim said the ban on male asylum seekers above the age of 18 came after six people filed complaints “over the sexually offensive behaviour of some migrant men at the pool”.
The measure aimed at “making it clear to the men that the right of women in Germany is inviolable”, he added.
Officials have gone personally to three asylum seeker shelters near the pools to deliver news of the ban and emphasise how people should behave in swimming pools, said the spokesman.
What the Germans are dealing with here isn’t just some sort of political question or the resolution of immigration and border control policy. They’re in the middle of a spreading culture clash which is obviously much greater than anything Angela Merkel anticipated when she started down this dangerous road. Germany isn’t starting from a position of being a “melting pot” like the United States and they’re having to cope with a vast army of interlopers infiltrating a much smaller amount of territory. The results speak for themselves.
Recent polling in Merkel’s nation shows that a majority of her citizens are experiencing definite trepidation in terms of their new Muslim neighbors. (Daily Mail)
Sixty per cent of Germans fear their country cannot cope with the number of migrants arriving in the country, a survey has found.
Chancellor Angela Merkel has been under fire over the arrival of almost 1.1million asylum seekers in the country last year.
And tensions boiled over into violence after more than 1,000 Arab and North African men assaulted and robbed hundreds of women in Cologne on New Years’ Eve – sparking protests and attacks on migrant owned business.
Let’s return to that whole culture clash thing for a moment and look at a parallel story. While there are obvious differences between Syria and Pakistan, Germans who follow the news may have caught wind of another item in the news recently which drives some of these lessons home. The Islamic government of Pakistan – allegedly one of our allies, since we’re not talking about the Taliban here – recently considered a new piece of legislation which would crack down on pedophiles. Care to guess how that worked out? (Daily Caller)
A bid to ban child marriage in Pakistan utterly failed, after the Council of Islamic Ideology declared the legislation “anti-Islamic” and “blasphemous.”
The bill didn’t even move past the first stage in the legislative process, The Express Tribune reports. It was almost immediately pulled Thursday by Pakistan Muslim League party’s Marvi Menon following condemnation from CII, whose job it is to advise the legislature on whether bills are compliant with Sharia law. In this case, the bill clearly violated Islamic law as tradition holds marriage as acceptable when a girl hits puberty.
Critics may wish to claim that there’s no parallel between a cultural acceptance of child brides or pedophilia and sexual assaults on German women in public spaces, but I would argue otherwise. These simply aren’t western values and Europe is getting a big taste of it as turmoil continues to roil their nation. Merkel has now taken in well over one million immigrants from a very different culture an her citizens don’t seem to be terribly enamored of the results. Other countries in the EU are tightening their borders and turning people away, so where will they go? To Germany? This pot is close to boiling already and I still wonder if this won’t be the single issue which eventually brings down one of Europe’s most successful leaders in the modern era.

I’m not excusing the Muslim gropers/rapists or Breivik, but your conclusions stand up anyway.

And not so many of them at a time, although the total was already large enough to endanger the Western cultural matrix. And remember, Turkey has come a long way from the Westernized regime of a few decades ago, and Shari’a problems are now riding along with their more recent migrants.
We have border control??

Which, of course, is why the Bill of Rights were the first amendments to the Constitution, to make it clear (at a minimum) what the rights-holder was defending.
Pretty sure there are some things that we can definitely say are bad, even if some cultural codes condone them.
If I hadn’t seen the stories coming out of North Europe lately, I would think she was advocating that Muslims be tolerant of the Western values that are seen as immoral by Islam (women not smothered by shapeless bags); however, I think she is admonishing Christians to be tolerant of Muslims engaged in behavior that is not really bad, just culturally normatively “immoral” — such as rape.
They are insane.

You just had to go there.
Men who are allowed by their religious doctrines to molest women whenever they choose often experience great feelings of peace.
I doubt there is a more complete story in writing anywhere other than the police blotters.
Looks that way, doesn’t it?
Ugly isn’t going to come close to describing how this plays out.

Anyone want to start a pool as to when the first attack on a refugee camp by the German masses is going to happen? I don’t think anyone who picks a date beyond this year has a chance to win. And the politicians will react by letting more refugees in.
I suppose this can be seen as a “healing crisis” for Europe. Either the uber-liberals are removed from power or the continent becomes the northern hemisphere largest third world country.
