Photos: How ISIS treats prisoners

posted at 4:01 pm on August 8, 2014 by Allahpundit

A portrait of America’s new enemy, courtesy of Britain’s Daily Mail. Or rather, a self-portrait: The pics were taken and circulated online by ISIS itself. This is how they want the world to see them. The Einsatzgruppen shied away from photos when it came time to line people up and gun them down (although some pictures did emerge, of course). Over time, even the dregs of humanity within the SS began to feel the psychological weight of blasting defenseless civilians standing right in front of them, which led Himmler to brainstorm a less messy form of mass murder. Scroll through the Mail photos and see if you can find any trace of misgivings. One jihadi is smiling while he saws a man’s head off. However many of these degenerates we end up killing, we’re not killing enough.

Over at Time, Michael Crowley asks a good question. Didn’t candidate Obama insist in 2007 that genocide in Iraq isn’t our problem?

Obama said. “[If] that’s the criteria by which we are making decisions on the deployment of U.S. forces, then by that argument you would have 300,000 troops in the Congo right now — where millions have been slaughtered as a consequence of ethnic strife — which we haven’t done.”…

Did Obama flip-flop on a matter as serious as genocide? That would be too glib a conclusion. Seven years after Obama’s comments in New Hampshire, Iraq is a different place. The U.S. Army is long gone, and taking action there doesn’t prolong an ongoing occupation. Nor is Obama ordering anything like a reinvasion of the country. He has authorized — though not yet specifically ordered — only limited strikes against ISIS fighters in the region. “We are not launching a sustained US campaign against [ISIS] here,” a senior Administration official told reporters Thursday night.

What’s more, Obama’s new urgency, while framed mainly in humanitarian terms, is about something more. Obama is also prepared to use air strikes to prevent Sunni militants from storming the Kurdish capital of Erbil — a vital city to an important regional ally, and one the U.S. would protect even if dozens of U.S. diplomats and military advisers were not stationed there…

Mount Sinjar today has much in common with the Benghazi of 2011. The U.S. can act in a limited way to prevent a great atrocity (and, in this case, with the support of the national government — which the senior Obama official says would give any air strikes legitimacy under international law).

That’s an impressive grab bag of rationalizations for O’s reversal: Intervening now won’t extend an occupation, the Kurds are too important to abandon, the Yazidis’ predicament is a kinda sorta unique situation where we can prevent a particular act of genocide, etc. But the truth, I think, is simpler and truer to his M.O. Bluntly, Obama changed because the politics changed. In 2007, if you were running to be the Democratic nominee, the answer to any question involving further intervention in Iraq was no. Genocide committed by jihadi fanatics? No. Iran crossing the border to purge Iraq’s Sunnis? No. Saddam rising from the dead with a 50-megaton nuclear weapon in his pocket? No. And Obama had more reason than most to stick to a strictly noninterventionist line. Hillary, of course, had voted for the Iraq war (as had his eventual VP) whereas Obama had opposed the war early, in 2002. That was the smoking-gun proof he was offering liberals and other Democrats that his judgment was better than hers. For him to have said “Oh, sure, we’d bomb a jihadi group that’s reviving Nazi tactics against minorities” would have risked that advantage. Now that he’s a lame-duck president and most liberals are willing to defend anything he does, up to and including risking a constitutional crisis by unilaterally rewriting federal immigration law, he’s more worried about his legacy than about an election. If he stands by while ISIS slaughters thousands of people (sorry, thousands more people than they’ve already slaughtered), that’ll be his legacy — the man who won the Nobel Peace Prize, finally got us out of Iraq, and then did jack while jihadi Nazis took over the country. The politics changed, so he did too.

I’m glad at least we can refocus our attention on the evils of islam instead of how mean Israel is towards the Palestinians.

how many of these disturbing pictures from different Islamic groups do we have to look at before people realize that hamas maybe doesn’t care about Palestinians when it chooses to shoot rockets next to schools?? look at what Al Queda in Iraq, the Taliban, and now these savages are doing to fellow muslims!

how much more proof do people need??? where is the outcry for these people? or are people just exhausted after saving Palestinians with their “freepalestine” hashtags?

Radical Muslims in the Middle East only understand one thing: Brutal, unrelenting force.

If I were a political consultant to Obama, I’d recommend that he deploy the full force and will of our beloved Military to put a “final end” to ISIL/ISIS.

Too bad he’s aligned with their beliefs. But even then, he’s a hypocrite of the worst kind. He supports the Moslem belief in stoning gays and lesbians on the one hand… and in the other hand he takes their money and lavishes praise on them. Typical.

But it is not “radical”, instead it is “traditional”. Radical Muslims would be a group of muslims who accepted women should be treated as equal to men under the law, and living with infidels in peace and equality under the law, etc.

In other words the problem is bigger than ISIS, or AQ, or Hamas, or the Muslim Brotherhood. They are just symptoms.

Here is just one example of what I mean…

91% of Muslims in Iraq want Sharia Law as the law of the land!

“The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant. I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”

It turns out that there are quite a few Kobe Bryants on the JV team in Iraq.

The Koran could be considered another version of the Bible and Torah, but the a-Hadiths and the Sura command fundamentalist muslims to do what they are doing to this day. Its been going on since A.D. 624 I believe.

This Demon Knows The True History.
Not the lie History told by the fake news media, who lust for evil power. Who lust to be with the commie elite who rule by the media lies.

This true History has been lurking back in the tree line just out of our vision, but now the steel hooves of the Demon of History’s huge black horse strike on the rocks near. The sparks glint in the huge red angry eyes of the Demon of History.

Knowing as he does we know the true history but also knowing we chose to deny the truth out of fear, out of lazyness, out of looking out for only our own self’s and he will judge U.S. for these sins of omission.

Now near, now close, now the dust from the hooves can be seen, the heat of the anger is felt, the sin is clear, there,, just there in your eyes, in your knowing, in your soul, in all souls, the knowing is there, yet on comes the Demon of History and no one acts.

Behold the naked face of Islam…

CPT. Charles on August 8, 2014 at 7:01 PM

The situation in the Middle East and SW Asia is absolutely horrible. However, with a little leadership some good could come from the situation. What we are seeing with ISIS is akin to a militant version of the Westboro Church rising up in the USA trying to force all Christian denominations to follow their perverted brand of “Christianity”, while executing any non-Christians and homosexuals. Sure the protestant churches squabble among themselves and with the Catholics, but none would want to fall under the Westboro nuts. It’s the same way with Islam. There are all kinds of believers across the spectrum, but very few want to come under the domination of ISIS. And although I consider many “moderate” Muslims too extreme, there is an opportunity for the West offer help in return for some moderation. Offer them a choice, cool down your call for jihad against the West and Israel and we will give you a hand getting rid of these ISIS a$$holes, or succumb to the 21st century version of Genghis Khan and his Mongols.

Having said that, I don’t believe that we should get wrapped up in another ground war, but we can offer air support and arms and training to certain groups like the Kurds. In asking for moderation we shouldn’t expect these countries to turn into Western democracies or become paragons of human rights, just to tamp down on terrorism and some of their more barbaric treatment of women and minorities. If they don’t want to do that, then screw ‘em. It’ll make it easier not having to worry about civilian casualties when we have to nuke the caliphate in a decade or so.

Hitler only wanted to kill the Jews and rule the world, he was just a creepy murdering thug with to much power and to many fools to follow him.

These who follow the Koran want all who do not join their cult to die, no to be put to death by head chopping, in fact they will chop off the heads of ones of islam who do not read the Koran properly.

Only a dark ugly death cult will be allowed if they chop enough heads.

It is real, it is not just words, now it is seen, but there is the deal of not accepting the facts as seen.

Your own body laying there as your head rolls away is not the best way to see the final truth……

Robert Spencer is a good man. If only our nation had listend to him back in the early days of the “War on Terror” (which should be called a “War on Islamism”) we would have avoided a lot of grief.

That is why Liddell Hart, the great British military strategist and historian stated…

History bears witness to the vital part that ‘prophets’ have played in human progress — which is evidence of the ultimate practical value of expressing unreservedly the truth as one see it. Yet it also becomes clear that the acceptance and spreading of their vision has always depended on another class of men — ‘leaders’ who had to be philosophical strategists, striking a compromise between truth and men’s receptivity to it. Their effect has often depended as much on their own limitations in perceiving the truth as on their practical wisdom in proclaiming it. The prophets must be stoned; that is their lot, and the test of their self-fulfillment.

But a leader who is stoned may merely prove that he has failed in his function through a deficiency of wisdom, or through confusing his function with that of a prophet. Time alone can tell whether the effect of such a sacrifice redeems the apparent failure as a leader that does honour to him as a man. At the least, he avoids the more common fault of leaders — that of sacrificing the truth to expediency without ultimate advantage to the cause. For whoever habitually suppresses the truth in the interests of tact will produce a deformity from the womb of his thought.

The subject of border security has been given a look and then forgotten for the next big story. Big mistake.

Sheriff Larry Spence of Willacy County spoke to MailOnline after murder of off-duty Border Patrol Agent Javier Vega Jr. who was allegedly gunned down by two illegal immigrants who had been deported six times.
Sheriff Spence said ranchers had reported illegal immigrants walking through the brush in single file, armed with rifles in military fatigues.
Spence said he used to not show a weapon but now he has ‘two or maybe three’ because of the increasing ‘criminal element’
He added: ‘It’s not like it was years ago when people were just looking for a job or something to eat’
MailOnline also spoke to the woman who reported Javier’s alleged killers to the police. She now fears she could be killed by the cartels

People need to see this Zombie Apocalypse for what it is; The Zombie Apocalypse. Except these zombies have guns.

But it’s the same premise, because they act the same, feel the same, and can be reasoned with, just the same. You can either kill them, or they will eat you…there is no ‘Truce’.

And it only *ends* the same way…Either you eliminate them all and Mankind wins…or the Zombies do.

Either way, the apocalypse has started…and the Zombies look hungry.

Shades of Germany in the 40′s…

Hitler, Goebbels, Idi Amin, Hussein, the list of these type of people throughout the ages is endless.

Just another group in a long list and the only way to deal with them is to exterminate them, completely with a greater more violent, more effective force than they can imagine.

They only know death and fear…so we give it them.

I don’t understand why we just can’t send over a few planes and bomb the h3ll out of them…it would be good practice for some of our young men, let them earn some combat ribbons.

Jews was first, Russians would have been second…and on down the line…I am sure “blacks” would have been on that list.

I am glad he is finally doing something, but President Obama could have prevented a lot of this with a few airstrikes on the advancing ISIS columns a few weeks or months ago.

At every turn he ignores a problem or dismisses it, then hesitates, ponders, “weighs options”, plays golf, while obvious solutions present themselves. Then he finally acts a little too late, once the crisis has passed an irreversible turning point. At each stage he always articulates the “limits” on U.S. involvement, telegraphing to our enemies exactly what they can get away with, and then some, because he never acts on the “red line.”

Unless, of course, criticism of his “strategy” of inaction finally rises to a level that it actually penetrates the sycophants in the press or other Democrats, then he sometimes has a knee jerk overreaction (Honduras, Libya, Egypt) which is totally misplaced and has disastrous “unintended” consequences.

PunditPete on August 9, 2014 at 12:02 AM

The greatest security threat to our country is Obama.

He has increased our debt and damaged our security.
He has failed to secure our border.
He has let down our allies (latest is the Kurds) or worse (Israel).
He has supported our enemies (Muslim Brotherhood).
He has demoralized our troops and is cutting our critical defense budget.
He has encouraged our enemies.
He has failed to sustain our past hard fought victories.
He has failed to take care of our veterans.
He has apologized to our foes.
He has appointed political hacks to key national security positions.
He has ignored our generals.
He has ignored the citizens.

He is a threat to our security abroad, to safe borders, to our system of laws, to our civil society, to our religious tolerance and freedoms, to our free press, to our free speech, to our economic freedom, to our Constitution.

Sorry, I’m running out of letters.

Allow me to remind everyone of the Rules of the Modern Battlefield
(And western-world democracies re-write and refine these rules continuously):

If you are OBSERVABLE, you WILL be seen.

If you are SEEN, you WILL be TARGETED.

If you are TARGETED, you WILL be HIT.

AND …
Everything at one time or another is be OBSERVABLE.

This is not the work of any “God” I know. God didn’t create life to have men brutally destroy it, allegedly in his name.

These actions are nothing but pure, unadulterated evil. It is the work of men with small minds, no conscience, no useful purpose in this world. They have taken their temporary power over people, at the point of a gun, and abused it to create heinous acts.

I have no doubt there is something for them after this life. But it’s not what they think. God has told us very clearly what happens when men conduct themselves in such a way while in this world. This realm, is a relatively short existence compared to eternity.

Those people you’ve murdered and abused. They are waiting for you with God on the other side. Think about that for a second.

I am curious where the outrage is in the Muslim community? Those who tell us that Islam does not permit such atrocities. Those who defend it as a legitimate faith? Where is the courage, the well-formed arguments against this behavior, the righteousness, the protest, the defense, the compassion? I can’t find it.

May these cowards be destroyed and wiped from this earth. May we provide enough support so that people can stand up on their own and fight these dastardly wimps. Because retribution is coming. The only question is what form it takes.

After a while of trying to keep your chin up your shoulders give out and dislocate. Then you sag and can’t breath and have to pull up with all the pain of dislocated shoulders to catch a breath. Drowning on dry land so to speak. This happens for a short while and you start to guppy breath and plead to be killed. They hold you up and after a few breaths you tell them what they want.

Then they put you you of your misery.

Evil.

Obama and his administration could have prevented all of this horror in Iraq. They could have negotiated with the Iraqi government to leave an American force in place. Failing that, they should have armed the Kurds. They should be arming them now. They should, at a minimum, be destroying ISIS from the air.
Obama and his administration are at, best, utterly incompetent. At worst, they are evil.

CW on August 9, 2014 at 10:37 AM

I have a different take. Someone pulled Obama aside and said ” uh dude, I know you really don’t care about how many people get killed because of your actions, buuut this one might be a little different. You see, in this part of the world religious groups climbing to the tops of mountains and being laid siege to is kind of a big thing. They tend to remember it around here, for thousands of years! So, unless you want to be remembered as the guy who stood by and let this happen for two millennium you might want to do something!”

Obama doesn’t care about anything but himself and allows events to buffet him around. His legacy will not survive the slow motion deaths of thousands. Even if he’s the first black president.

But with Obama’s latest decision to launch airstrikes against the Islamic State in the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), the Obama Doctrine has now come into focus: pretend to give a damn about suffering of innocents when it hits the headlines, ignore it the rest of the time.

Because Obama doesn’t truly care. At all. He is a master emotional manipulator, capable of achieving effective posturing when it comes to the suffering of innocents. That’s why the media constantly swoon at his “tone” and his “attitude” during his press conferences. They repeatedly praise his “anger” or his “determination.” But they rarely ask just what he’s doing to fight evil.

Any deployment of power will be short-term and ineffective. Obama will do all he can for innocents up until the moment when he doesn’t have to do so. Then he’ll leave them to die.

Innocent: Yazidi Iraqis on Mount Sinjar carry the limp bodies of children as they flee their ISIS hunters. Up to 50,000 terrified Yazidis – half of them children – have sought refuge from the bloodshed in the barren mountain range to the north of their hometown. But there they face an impossible dilemma – try to make it to the Turkish border and risk being captured and killed by insurgents, or remain on the mountain without food or water in the searing heat in the hope that aid will somehow get through

I know that Genocide is thought to be “wrong”, but look.

Every last Muslim, to a man, must be killed.

None can be left alive, because of a little thing called “taqiyya”.

The doctrine that Muslims can and must lie to non-Muslims in order to facilitate the spread of Jihad.

So, no matter how much they say they’ll abandon islam if you give them the option, 99% of the time, it will be taqiyya.

And then they’ll go back to their 7th century ways of raping, killing, and sawing off limbs. Muhammad and Allah command it of them.

How perfect Muhammad must have thought he was, to invent a “religion” that demands its adherents rape, kill, and lie to everyone else.
