Report: 300,000 Central American immigrants heading to U.S.

posted at 7:21 pm on July 7, 2014 by Noah Rothman

This is… troubling.

The ongoing and apparently worsening calamity at the southern border as protected individuals like Central American women and children stream across the border is not merely a humanitarian and political crisis but a health crisis as well. While the influx of immigrants is not being curtailed, the health risks associated with that inflow are apparently being mitigated.

“It’s getting better,” said U.S. Border Patrol Council Shawn Moran in an interview with San Antonio’s WOAI. “Everyone is being screened and receiving medical care.”

That’s nice, but buried at the bottom of that report was a deeply disturbing revelation that the federal government estimates approximately 300,000 prospective illegal immigrants are currently on their way to the American border.

In fact, one source told Newsradio 1200 WOAI as many as 300,000 Central American immigrants are now ‘en route’ to the United States through Mexico, and the Department of Defense has asked military bases around the country to find 180 barracks, holding centers, and other facilities to house the flood which is not expected to stop coming any time soon.

“The numbers are still overwhelming and we are sending people everywhere just to get them processed, just due to the huge numbers,” Moran said.

This report comes on the heels of a confrontation at Murrieta, California where the federal government attempted and failed to relocate and process some of the 240,000 migrants and 52,000 unaccompanied immigrant children who have been captured crossing the border in recent months. Murrieta residents greeted a busload of illegal immigrant women and children with anti-illegal immigration protests and signs recently, forcing that bus to reroute an hour south to San Diego.

If WOAI’s report, one that has thus far not been substantiated by other outlets, turns out to be true, how many cities will react to that deluge of illegal migrants in the same way that the citizens of Murrieta did?

Do you want to stop this? Arm the peasants so they can shoot back. It’ll be cheaper in the short run and better for them in the long run.

They think it’s 300k – how badly underestimated do we think that number certainly is?

Wait, what? “Immigrants”?

F*ck you, Noah. “Immigrants”, my a$$.

Honest to God I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone!

Why isn’t the media and the PUBLIC demanding a press conference and and least a few answers?

Who’s guarding the border?

If you knew this was coming, and clearly you DID, we’ve seen documentation, why didn’t you prepare and INFORM US?

Why all the secrecy?

What are you hiding Mr President?

And, Congress…did you ALL know?

So they’re not seeing our TV commercials? Maybe we should send free TVs and antennas to all these Central American countries, so they can be informed.

Meanwhile, down in the Rio Grande Valley, they’re being welcomed with cheers and freebies. A man from Honduras named Omar, and his 14-year-old son Christian, were put on a bus in McAllen, bound for Delaware. They were given a court date in Texas, and sent on their way. Think they’ll show up for a court date back here in Texas? Yeah, me neither.

From WFAA: US sends mixed message, but insists no amnesty for immigrants

Just send them to the northeast blue states. It will have two advantages:

(1) It will bring their beloved social services crashing to the earth. Might even bankrupt a few blue states.

(2) It will force the white liberal populations there to understand what is going on.

What the left really wants is to dump these people in red states to change those states from red to blue. We know Obama will not enforce the laws and remove them from the country, and congress is too chicken right now to impeach him, so the next move is to ship them to the people who voted for this president. That is politically possible…so do it.

But the red states govs have to accept to take them in, no? Do you see those governors saying yes to that, unless they put them on military bases (but they can’t do that forever tho, only as a temporary measure) in which case I guess said governors can’t do much about. The most likely scenario though is that they will inflict them upon us in California (see the Murietta backlash) and all the other S and S-W states, like they invariably do.

They will be henceforth referred to as refugees, no actions will be taken, they will be provided for by generous government entities both large and small, even to the point of breaking the bank in the economic costs necessary. De facto amnesty. It doesn’t have to be official. Right?

We’re going from America’s best days being behind her to all of her days being behind her.

So the trade off is absorbing 300000 more relatively uneducated, unskilled, Hispanics into the welfare state or the price we pay for lettuce and tomatoes, maid, and lawn service goes up?

Or maybe Zuckerberg, Gates, and Page are going to hire them as tech workers?
