Video: Democrats slaver through “questioning” of IRS Commissioner

posted at 8:01 pm on June 20, 2014 by Mary Katharine Ham

Through every second of this montage, please remind yourself that these people fancy themselves anti-establishment. They are the fighters of the Man, the afflicters of the comfortable. Pathetic.

This incredibly powerful agency admitted wrongdoing, confessing its sins in passing at a conference where they hoped it might go little noticed. Its inspector general confirmed wrongdoing. Its wrongdoing was predicated on the identifying words for the administration’s political adversaries and those adjectives were the only ones used to discriminate against groups for which the IRS was to “be on the lookout.” These instructions came, demonstrably, from Washington, not rogue agents in Cincinnati. And, when Congress had the temerity to try to get to the bottom of this incredibly obvious abuse of power, the IRS lost documents in a manner which the agency itself would never accept from the American citizens it’s been found victimizing. You have to be irrational to suspend this much disbelief. These guys oblige.

Thanks Grabien for the montage.

Shameless. It is fascinating how they are such liars as to be sure there was no wrongdoing. Absent an investigation, how could they possibly know that?

SEC Files Lawsuit to Enforce Subpoenas Issued to Congress

U.S. House Was Asked for Information Related to Possible Insider-Trading Case

**********************************

WASHINGTON—The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit Friday seeking to enforce subpoenas the agency issued to Congress in a possible insider-trading case, according to people familiar with the matter.

The SEC went to a New York court after the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means refused to comply with the agency’s request for information and testimony in the matter, the people said.

The court challenge signals a major clash between the branches of government. Under the separation of powers provisions in the U.S. Constitution, the Congress has several protections to guard itself from investigations by the SEC and other executive-branch agencies.

By going to court, the SEC has signaled it disagrees with the reasons that Congress gave for refusing to turn over evidence in the case.

“It’s not unheard of for an agency to serve a subpoena to Congress, but for an agency to sue is—if not unprecedented—at least very rare,” said Michael Stern, who served as senior counsel to the U.S. House from 1996 to 2004.

“It shows that there is a serious conflict; the SEC really wants the information and the House really wants it protected,” he said.

The investigation stems from a 2013 leak of information about a health-care policy change that sent stocks on a tear. Investigators are trying to learn who may have passed along information about the policy change that ended up in the hands of a Washington, D. C., consulting firm, which then zapped the tip to its Wall Street clients.

Is it possible they could get away with this?

I fear that the media/Democrat cabal could let them go without punishment.

And then what?

Can we even pretend to be a free country when one party is so completely corrupt and that corruption is so pervasive that there is no hope of justice?

If there can be no dissent in America, why would we even pretend to hold elections? The elections are completely false.

Obama is not duly elected.

We have no President. We have a pretender in the Whitehouse.

And our media ignores it.

More like openly corrupt government looking to make themselves into a permanent class of elites that don’t have to abide by any laws, yet bring the hammer down on us if we don’t do as they wish.

Laugh about conspiracies all you like, that is until you get audited, your property confiscated, including your bank accounts, then your wages (if you even work) garnished permanently. When that happens don’t expect any sympathy, all you’ll get is laughter.

Diluculo on June 20, 2014 at 8:42 PM

I’ve been telling people this for years, still most are unable to comprehend what it means. The only morals or ethics that the democrats have, are their unshakable belief that “The End Justifies the Means“. This montage is that fact writ in huge neon letters in the sky. Yet still, most will not understand.

These people are morally and ethically indistinguishable from those who supported a) Hitler, b) Stalin, c) Mao, and d) Pol Pot. We are headed to the exact same place each of those regimes went, how long it take for us to get there, or if we get there at all, is up to us. But make no mistake about it, that is where the political class is taking us unless “We the People” do something about it.

The End Justifies the Means, means that there is no lie, no inexcusable act, no atrocity, no depravity, that not only can be excused to further their agenda, but that won’t eventually be used. Today, it’s denying that they have been violating the Constitution of the United States of America to maintain and increase their hold on power. Today, it is doing whatever they think is necessary to protect their President who has committed TREASON and violated the United States Constitution.

What will tomorrow bring? I guarantee that it will not get better until and unless we do something about it. John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are not on our side, they have to go. Thew GOPe absolutely must be crushed and replaced with real Republicans and Conservatives. Throw all of the incumbents out, and start over or we will find ourselves in Hitler’s Germany or Stalins Soviet Union, or perhaps someplace even worse.

Don’t fool yourself, it’s not just one party. It’s BOTH. Republicans have become just as progressive as the liberal democrats. There is no difference between the two parties anymore, they are all about self preservation and power. If you hate either party, you really hate both. If you love either party, you’re an idiotic progressive piece of garbage not fit to dwell within our borders. We need to start rectifying this situation.

The Republic is doomed. The abuse of power that became apparent under Nixon resulted in the Republican party telling the sitting President he had to go. No such integrity exists in the Democratic party. Justice will do nothing. The President will do nothing. People are asking “Do they think we are that dumb to believe this?” Wrong question, the question is: “Screw you, what can you do to stop us?” The answer is: Nothing. The Republic is doomed. It will all come crashing down. Prep people, save yourselves and your families.

nd, when Congress had the temerity to try to get to the bottom of this incredibly obvious abuse of power, the IRS lost documents in a manner which the agency itself would never accept from the American citizens it’s been found victimizing.

Not to mention that they are emails they said they had at a prior stage of the testimony.

We jail enough people for “Lying to a government officer” every year–and most of it for putting information that regulators can misinterpret (and then claim that what they inferred was what you intended).

I disagree, they are both members of the Preening Class. The republican form of government requires we elect people, those people tend to be people who can sell themselves. And if the superficial can sell themselves than those that “message” better than others will thrive.

I invoke McLuhan here to say that since the media has a tendency to absorb the message, the “media-savvy” politicians we have are politicians that are more dependent upon the media. Hence cowed-conservatives work somewhat as well as brothers-in-arms liberals. The more the culture mainlines entertainment the more we conform to consumers of media and respond to the media’s candidates.

Videodrome was a vivid depiction of the combination of addiction/deformity/delusional deliverance that we’re seeing with much subtler notes in modern media.

Do I understand this in that what they are saying is that it is the Law that all “evidence of an incriminating nature of upper level management must be destroyed within 6 months of discovery of the criminal act”. After two years of discovery of the crime we are just now subpoenaed the evidence of the crime and then are shocked that it has all been destroyed some time ago.

This is appalling. No one in the world has such unprecedented protection from prosecution as do our elected officials and upper level bureaucrats. The true criminals in this are “We The People” who let them become this way.

In all of these culture of corruption after corruption NO ONE-NOT ANY ONE-NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has been charged much less found guilty of even a minor breach of the law.

We have a political party that is solely based on lies and deceit. And another party that is based on I know not what.

Am I so wrong in this that no one else in the world can see what is happing here. In the old English law prior to the Magna Carta The king and the Nobelist could not be prosecuted, They were considered to be infallible. Is it just that we again have a King and Nobles? That can not be found with fault.

No it is that “We The People”, the peasants, the pawns the common man of society Must stand up to our suppressors and demand a new Magna Carta for the defense of American, she needs our help to survive.

WHO WHO WHO will stand up to lead. I have lung cancer with less then 6 months to live. All I ask from my country is to die knowing that my 50 years of service was not in vain. Is their anyone that will do more then lip service to this.
