TEMS: Andrew Malcolm, John Thavis, Salena Zito, Ashley McGuire

posted at 2:46 pm on March 25, 2014 by Ed Morrissey

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (4 pm ET), we have another great lineup for the news of the day!

  • Andrew Malcolm joins us for Tuesdays with Andrew! The Prince of Twitter and I will discuss all of the hot political stories of the day.
  • John Thavis, author of The Vatican Diaries (which I found indispensable when covering the papal conclave a year ago), discusses the newly-released paperback version with a new section covering the first year of Pope Francis’ pontificate. We will also preview the visit by President Barack Obama this week to the Vatican.
  • Salena Zito of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review will tell us more about the strengths of communities and the elites’ ignorance of them, and how that relates to subsidiarity in policy and politics.
  • Ashley McGuire of The Catholic Association will give us some insight into today’s Hobby Lobby/Conestoga arguments at the Supreme Court.

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page. Be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

I recall Salena posting her articles and appearing to comment on them years back on UnFreeRepublic. I’ve always been impressed with her writing and insights.
