MSNBC host: There are studies that show you are “literally” more likely to be beamed up by a UFO than find a case of voter fraud

posted at 7:21 pm on March 24, 2014 by Erika Johnsen

Last week, a federal judge ruled in favor of Kansas and Arizona in their suit to get the federal government on board with their voter-ID laws that require new voters to provide a birth certificate, passport, or other documentation to prove their citizenship. The federal voter registration form only requires that new voters sign a statement declaring that they are citizens, and the Federal Election Assistance Commission had been giving state officials nothing but grief in trying to change the federal form in their states to comply with their new laws. Progressives are pretty upset about the ruling, as well as some of the other voter-ID victories that have played out across the country recently, because — as they relentlessly insist — voter fraud isn’t actually a thing that exists in the real world. It’s obviously just a ploy completely pulled out of thin air by racist, poor-and-elderly-hating Republicans looking to disenfranchise minority and normally Democratic voters. In fact, as Joy Reid informed us today on MSNBC, you’re more likely to be abducted by aliens than find an in-person instance of voter fraud. They’ve done studies, you know. Watch it at Mediaite:

 photo Screenshot2014-03-24at64826PM_zps5444d8c9.png

There have been a lot of studies on this, right? There’s a lot of studies that show that you’re literally more likely to be beamed up into a UFO or be struck by lightning than to find in-person voter fraud. Why is it your party seems fixated on trying to go after early voting, trying to go after, you know, forcing people to bring a birth certificate, all things that just happen to impact minorities and people who tend to vote for the Democratic party?

…I posted this video last week, but if you haven’t seen it yet and watch only one video today, make it this one.

Who did this study? Paul Krugman?

There were precincts that voted more than 100% of registered voters for Obama in 2012 and precincts that recorded NO votes for Romney.

That coupled with the IRS/NSA scandals I think the 2012 election was our first “Saddam Hussein” Re-election in our history. Obama’s re-election is no more legitimate than his bastard birth.

These laws are pretty weak and I don’t see the big deal.

You should have to re-register to vote every 4 or 8 years or every time you move and you should do it IN PERSON during normal business hours. Also, they should require to separate forms of ID to vote.

This would make it harder on the dead to vote.

One thing you have to say about Democrats is they don’t like to leave anything to chance. When it comes to stealing elections, they thought they had it down pat, until the 2000 election. They pulled out all the stops to steal that one and the Supreme Court stopped them.

Let’s look at what they’ve done since then. First, they stopped George Bush from appointing numerous Judges to the Appellate courts around the country. Secondly, they’ve found out where all the close districts are so, if necessary, they can pad the vote in order to win them. They’re also using the Obama Administration to fill the courts and the executive with people who will enforce the progressive agenda and many of them will be there for years to come.

Does anyone really believe the DOJ was fighting voter I.D. because it’s discriminatory? Come on now, does anyone really believe that? The DOJ fought voter I.D. so they could leave their options open to steal the districts necessary to win the election. You can’t steal a landslide, but you can steal a close election. Look at the states that put Obama over the top and look at some of the razor thin margins.

Not my doing but heartily endorsed as a means to fix some of the fraud issues

2) A mathematical analysis of voting registrations by location
My main effort here in Oregon will involve getting addresses for all businesses, Government/Public institutions, and residences. We shall also correlate Washington State data, death records, and other available records in this effort.

Since fraud usually operates in ‘circles of comfort’ if we identify a fraudster in an area we can mathematically examine the local area identifying other potential problem ballots. Further if the total ballots in a small area exceed the capacity we also know we have problems.

3) Signature identification software.
There has been significant efforts to move the art of signature identification into the math realm and therefore the computer science realm. When a person attempts to make a ‘different signature’ they create a tell tale which matches their writing style. This can be weight of the pen at locations, the shape of significant letters, the height of the average letter, and so forth. A signature is as capable (generally, there are some exceptions) to be identified even when signing a different name as a finger print is identifiable.

Now I need to find this (darn you Google for preventing a quick and easy search, now I have to try hundreds of differentiating terms or muddle through thousands of null results!) and seek out the experts involved in this, but this is a direction for the future.

The math model will be our short-term reduction, the camera our ballot safety system, and the signature identification a long-term solution.
