The Ed Morrissey Show: Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson & the Year in Review

posted at 1:31 pm on December 27, 2013 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll take one last look at 2013 with Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson of the Hugh Hewitt Show. Duane and I will recap the year’s biggest stories — and try to pick 2014’s big stories, too. All of this and more — and stay tuned for a preview of tonight’s Hugh Hewitt Show.

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page. Be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!

..obligatory intrusive but affectionate expression of appreciation:

“After the post-electoral doldrums of 2012 passed on by, Fridays in 2013 became a sheer delight, winding down the work week listening to two of my favorite pundits’ thoughts and observations. You two are more prescient, insightful, and articulate (well, more insightful, anyway) than any of the Hot Winds blowing out of DC and boiling off the steaming plasma displays. (If only you two were as easy on the eyes as Megan Kelly is. But, what the hell, you and Duane beat the crap out of staring at O’Reilly.)

Here’s to more FFF’s (Fun-Filled Fridays) in 2014! Long live The Captain and The Generalissimo!”

Thanks! As for not being as easy on the eyes as Megyn Kelly, well … guilty as charged, and that won’t improve much in 2014. Fair warning. :-)

Props for doing a fresh show today, when all the other shows are reruns!
