Stewart: Say, is Obama in any loops at all?

posted at 4:01 pm on October 29, 2013 by Ed Morrissey

Does he mean President Ida Know? Jon Stewart skewered Barack Obama personally last night for the White House’s threadbare refrain that the President has no knowledge of what happens in his own administration.  Stewart picks up on the obvious question about the surveillance of other world leaders, which is that we’re expected to believe that Obama never once asked, “Say, where did you get that intel?”   That led to a funny exchange with Jessica Williams, in which she reported that Obama’s staff doesn’t tell him anything because he’s a crier … and worse than John Boehner:

Jon Stewart‘s been going after Obamacare a lot lately, but on Monday night’s Daily Show, he targetedPresident Obama in particular for appearing to be so out of the loop on so many issues, “there appear to be very few loops he’s in.”

Stewart noted how Obama was apparently unaware of the issues with the Obamacare website, comparing it to “if the Charmin bear just found out what people actually do with this toilet paper.”

But even stranger to Stewart was how Obama’s seemingly out of the loop on NSA surveillance, mockingly asking “Does the president believe in surveillance fairies?” and obliquely referencing the “total ignorance of what the administration is doing.”

Stewart opened the show with an update on the improvements at Healthcare.gov, especially the upgrade in the site’s graphics.  At least it’s a little more honest:

The crowd is strangely muted early on, as if they’re mostly liberals uncomfortable with their Dog Eating Savior being rebuked. On Stewart’s show, no can’t be.

That’s nice and all, but until they (Stewart, SNL etc.) start mercilessly mocking this administration’s many, many failures, falsehoods and incompetence on a nightly basis like they would if he were an R, this will just be chalked up to “oh, everyone makes mistakes” by the disengaged, lo-info voters who make up Stewart’s soft-headed groupie brigade. Nothing seems to penetrate the tech bubble these idiots immerse themselves in. Hopefully their paychecks, if they draw one will start to interest them.

Another Stewart unfunny. But let’s touch on the “He never asked where we were getting this information from?!?” line. Who does NIPF take its orders from. Seriously. In your unfunny point about the president not asking questions you don’t ask the simplest question of all. Instead we get a bad nip-slip joke.

The National Intelligence Priorities Framework (NIPF) is the Director of National Intelligence’s guidance to the IC on the national intelligence priorities approved by the President. The NIPF is the DNI’s sole mechanism for establishing national intelligence priorities.

The NIPF consists of:

>Intelligence topics reviewed by the National Security
Council’s Principals Committee and approved by the
President
.

>A process for assigning priorities to countries and non-state
actors relevant to the approved intelligence topics.

>A matrix showing these priorities. The NIPF matrix reflects
consumers’ priorities for intelligence support and ensures
that long-term intelligence issues are addressed.

The NIPF is updated semi-annually in coordination with IC elements, the National Intelligence Council, and other internal components of the ODNI. Ad hoc adjustments may also be made to reflect changes in world events and policy priorities.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and IC elements use the NIPF to guide allocation of collection and analytic resources. In addition, IC elements associate intelligence collection requirements and analytic production with NIPF priorities and report to the DNI on their coverage of NIPF priorities.

The only thing more disgraceful than the President of the United States claiming he DID NOT KNOW about anything going on in his own administration are these putrid hacks like Stewart crawling out from under Obama’s desk, wiping off their dripping mouths, and claiming that THEY just DID NOT KNOW what a despicable lying creep he is. Too little, waaaaay too late. You were on the wrong side of history, so you’re just going to have to learn to live with having been a major propagandist for an evil regime whose chief “achievement” was screwing over its own citizens. There’ll be no rewriting that history now that the pendulum is swinging.

Stewart: Say, is Obama in any loops at all?

Yet, this douchebag still voted for the Indonesian Dog-Eating Imbecile in 2012 when Barky claimed to be out of the loop on Benghazi … though he was knee deep in the coffin-dancing, flat-out-lie loop.

Barky has been pulling this same junk since 2009. Since 2007, really, when he was out of the loop on all the illegal things his campaign was doing. Barky was even out of the loop at planning and appearing at that insanely repulsive, illegal, and abhorrent campaign rally in a foreign nation … for friggin foreigners … paid in part by a foreign government. Lucky for Barky the guy he was running against didn’t care about campaign finance or any campaign laws, at all. Lucky for Barky he was out of the loop as his campaign disabled the AVS check for credit card donations on his web site … and was out of the loop when his campaign gave almost $1 million to ACORN for GOTV and “mistakenly” filed it as “lighting expenses” …

Loopless. The Mobius Strip administration and the idiots who voted for it, twice.

Poll: 42% of Americans Identify With The “Extremist” Tea Party Politically, 42% With Obama…

Considering all the names they called the Tea Party (extremists, anarchists, hostage takers, racists etc.), I wonder what Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Democrats have to say about this?

Via Rasmussen:

Voters are evenly divided when asked whether they agree more politically with President Obama or with the average member of the Tea Party. But an enormous partisan gap colors virtually all opinions of the Tea Party.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters think the president’s views are closest to their own when it comes to the major issues facing the country. But just as many (42%) say their views come closest to those of the average Tea Party member instead. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.

burrata on October 29, 2013 at 4:20 PM

Yep. He is doing pre emptive damage control. Never let your enemy introduce your scandals to the public. Do it yourself and control the message

They do it continuously for Hillary in the tabloids. Say a cover of her crotch dancing with another female ( typical photo that will not go away), leading to an article that softens the interpretations of the picture, followed by comments about her willingness to be a good sport, work hard etc. These covers keep people coming back for more …. indoctrination

After cable news toadies go past too many flags, they need a Stewart, who theoretically speaks his mind, to dig the President a bit more, and then smooth over the ripples with the type of humor reserved for friend to friend, like a Johnny Carson Roast. They dont roast Hitler.

When Stewart roasts someone he doesnt want you to like, he uses different body language

Plus they dont want these controversies to end. They need time to keep Obamacare from going full gear before the election

This would be a perfect opportunity to completely bury the MSM. Fast & Furious didn’t have an impact on most Americans, neither did Benghazi. But Obamacare will have a negative impact on a lot of people.

If only there were a prominent Republican who had the guts to get up on a soapbox and say something like this:

“The media could have done some investigative reporting and found out how dishonest the Democrats were about being able to keep your current insurance, and how much prices would go up, and what a mess the website was going to be. But they weren’t interested, they only do investigative reporting on Republicans that they want to destroy. Obama lied to you, and the media made sure you didn’t find out he was lying until it was too late. Trust the media at your own risk, and be aware of what they’re agenda is, and who they’re rooting for”.

He’s only in the loops that make him look good.

Little did we know when we criticized Obama The Candidate for not having any executive experience that this would actually become an incredible advantage as a President that he could use to duck all responsibility for anything that goes wrong by claiming ignorance and incompetence whenever it suits him. And the incredible part is: Given today’s biased press, nobody wonders why such a self-admitted incompetent isolated from reality can be admired by so many as a great President.

Socratease on October 29, 2013 at 5:06 PM

This is how Stewart informs his audience. It’s baked as a joke, but the truth is still consumed.

Stewart had the black chick relay the message that Zero can’t handle bad news.

So now he’s actually told them “this guy cannot cut it”.

I’ve never bought Stewart’s Obama hits before, but this is legit.

For the first time, I’m beginning to see veil parting. It’s beginning to feel a lot like Lewinsky.
