posted at 7:11 am on August 30, 2013 by Ed Morrissey

For this week, The Ed Morrissey Show becomes Hot Air at the State Fair! I’ll broadcast live from the AM 1280 The Patriot booth here at the fairgrounds in St. Paul from 8-10 am CT. You can listen on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area, as well as right here on on the permanent Ed Morrissey Show page at Hot Air, where I will be streaming the show live along with video!

Today, my guests will be:

  • Kevin McCullough
  • Sen. Roger Chamberlain
  • Andrew Malcolm
  • Food On A Stick Of The Day
  • And perhaps a couple of surprises!

We’ll have a great time — so be sure to join us!

Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation! You can also register for free at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.)

Ed, you need to come down at the end of September for the largest state fair, The State Fair of Texas:

http://www.bigtex.com/sft/

The new Big Tex will be unveiled on opening day, replacing the original Big Tex, which sadly burned to death on the last Friday of last year’s fair. The new Big Tex will have a full fire suppression system.

Asleep At The Wheel, Blondie, and Casting Crowns are the best known of the artists performing on the Main Stage.

Come on down!

That sounds awesome, Ward!

Ed,
Obama’s new decree on banning used weaponry kills the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Over a hundred years old, designed to teach Americans to use weapons, and the weapons have never been used in a crime. You should talk (and write) about this.

Congress needs to overrule this. Get your callers to call their representative and senator. But they don’t need to bother if they live in California. Except for Congressman McClintock.
