Never fear, Anthony Weiner: “The rent is too damn high!”-guy is here for you

posted at 3:41 pm on August 1, 2013 by Erika Johnsen

Just in case you thought the New York City mayoral race couldn’t get any kookier, Weiner’s recalcitrance is bound to be buoyed from a finally encouraging voice urging him to actually do something other than drop out of the race in disgrace. He’s been complaining that he’d really like to get back to discussing the real, serious issues confronted by New Yorkers, if you don’t mind, and who better to help him do that than the guy who’s entire political platform consists of further installing one of the most visibly devastating and fundamentally flawed economic policies ever to plague major cities?

Politicker snagged a follow-up with Mr. McMillan (…follow the link for more of the interview at your own risk, blergh):

“I told him don’t quit,” Mr. McMillan told Politicker in an interview. “We didn’t talk about politics, I just told him clearly, ‘You do not quit. You can’t stand the heat in the kitchen, you shouldn’t have got in this race.’”

Mr. McMillan said he and the former congressman “met accidentally in a restaurant in Harlem called IHOP.” The brief breakfast that the two pols shared was enough to convince Mr. McMillan that Mr. Weiner was the right candidate to win the Democratic primary. …

“We all are freaky. He just exposed his freaky-ism in the wrong way,” Mr. McMillan said of Mr. Weiner’s sexually explicit photos. “I think Anthony needs someone like me to tell him, ‘Don’t be afraid to go get help if you need it.’” …

Weiner was actually hoping to pick up the endorsement of the ‘Pants on the Ground’ guy.

So, what do you call resigning from Congress?

We need that guy to be the fashion consultant of all politicians. Bring some class back.

Speaking of rents…the Wieners moved quietly into a multi-million dollars penthouse, courtesy of the Clintons.

Actually, he was hoping to pick up the endorsement of the guy described in that song.

We all are freaky.

And the rent is too damn high! How can I get my freak on when the rent is too damn high?

Hang in there, Anthony. Many of us in flyover country are rooting for both you and Spitzer. BTW, what are Huma’s plans? Will she still be consulting?

The gift that keeps on giving.
I hope Weiner wins….NYC deserves more of the same and he will be front and center when Hillary starts her run.
Another rigid member to embarrass the pant suit.

Thanks to Twitter, Weiner is not forced to spend his days flashing girls on street corners.

Weiner’s rent is indeed too damn high if by rent you mean penis and by high you mean tweeted.

MaxMBJ on August 1, 2013 at 4:17 PM

This is pretty weird. I remember that the “Rent is Too Damn High” guy is an anti-Semite. Apparently the chance to get fifteen more minutes of fame is enough for him to overcome his racism.

thuja on August 1, 2013 at 4:18 PM

I can understand why Weiner is still in.

There’s a lot of Slutbags in NYC. He doesn’t want to give
them Short Shrift.

Next step in American political evolution? Endorsements by Gregory Bros. celebs Sweet Brown, Sheriff Kai, Antoine Dodson, and Charles Ramsey.

[Steve Eggleston on August 1, 2013 at 3:46 PM]

He ran for governor in 2010 on a Rent Is Too Damn High line after getting enough petition signatures, got into the Dem debates and generally made a spectacle of himself. He got some NYC press because of that and some more on a few slow news days.

Dusty on August 1, 2013 at 4:30 PM

“We all are freaky. He just exposed his freaky-ism in the wrong way,” Mr. McMillan said of Mr. Weiner’s sexually explicit photos.

On the planet Vulcan, a prosecuting attorney would win the argument that McMillan just confessed.

New York libtards deserve Weiner, Spitzer and Scrotum Beard.
They’ll make the place the Detroit of the East Coast in no time.
How can the rent be too damn high if you have rent control?
If you do not like the rent MOVE FOOL!
Better yet, buy your own house.
