Abortionist on LiveAction sting: “I really consider them terrorists”

posted at 4:41 pm on April 29, 2013 by Allahpundit

By “them,” he means the LiveAction people who exposed him, not doctors who’d leave a live-born infant to die on a table because that’s what mommy wants.

Guy Benson wrote about this in the Greenroom but it deserves some attention on the front page.

When a patient is seeking a late-term abortion, he said, he will insert a suppository to open her cervix. Two days later, he said, he completes the procedure by cutting the umbilical cord until the cord stops pulsing. Then he removes the fetus. He said he has never had a live birth during an abortion.

He said he was “tripped up” by a hypothetical at a moment when he was trying to reassure a client. “Once the baby is born, it’s out of everybody’s hands, and the baby has rights, too,” he said. “I understand that and I support that.”

He said he has not watched the video because “I don’t like to feed into these people. I really consider them terrorists.”

It’s not out of everybody’s hands. What percentage of babies born accidentally during abortions do you think make it out of the clinic alive simply because the doctor and his “patient” feel duty bound to follow the law and save it? If two people go into a room to kill a defenseless person, knowing that police almost certainly will never find out what happens in there, it beggars belief to think that a slight change in circumstances, i.e. emergence from the womb, will transform their intentions instantly from “kill” to “save.” It’s preposterous. The doctor doesn’t want to gain a reputation for being inept at his “service” and the mother doesn’t want to suddenly be “burdened” with caring for a child for 18 years whom she thought would be dead 10 minutes ago. Santangelo knows what he’s supposed to say when asked about this, which explains his quote in the WaPo piece today, and he knows the reality of the situation, which explains why he said what he said to LiveAction’s people. And that reality, and the mind-boggling arbitrariness of the kill/save distinction, is so uncomfortable that it leads him to lash out at LiveAction as moral monsters instead of facing the music himself. He’s not the only pro-abortioner guilty of that today either:

Ace retweeted someone this afternoon who noted that this is like saying that Jacob Riis photographing New York slums to expose the conditions there was more disgusting than the conditions themselves. How many slumlords thought Riis was a “terrorist”?

Meanwhile, in closing arguments at the Gosnell trial today, the defense wants America to know two things. One: Gosnell didn’t murder those babies, he killed them lawfully by poisoning them in the womb, so there. And two: The prosecution is “elitist” and “racist.” Not “terrorist” too?

We wonder why our society is in such decline. When we try to make excuses for this type of practice – there really is little hope.

Meanwhile, in closing arguments at the Gosnell trial today, the defense wants America to know two things. One: Gosnell didn’t murder those babies, he killed them lawfully by poisoning them in the womb, so there.

So let me just see if I have this right. Basically the position of the pro-abortionists in this country is that until the baby….excuse me, fetus is completely out of the womb, it’s perfectly fine for an abortion doctor to do whatever is necessary to terminate it. And if by chance that….fetus makes it out of the womb, the doctor can still do whatever he needs to so the “mother” isn’t forced to take it home or hand it over to an adoption agency.

Does that pretty much sum up the left’s position on “women’s health” and “the right to choose”?

What’s more disgusting than late-term abortion? This scheme to exploit it by hiring actors & secretly taping doctors. http://wapo.st/11wBHIW

That’s exactly what Patterico predicted at the end of his post yesterday:

Both people on the left and right look at a video like this and become concerned that a crime may have been committed. The difference is, people on the right are worried that babies are being murdered. People on the left, by and large, are worried that the taping occurred without permission.

How much do you want to bet that this man also believes that people shouldn’t jump to conclusions about Islamic terrorism and the bombing attacks in Boston? Or any bombing attack anywhere.

I think it is no coincidence that liberals take to their fainting couches at the thought of a particular religion being blamed for some heinous crime.

Their moral compasses are seriously skewed.

What is the end game for progressives on this? “Sorry Little Johnny, Mommy’s life just isn’t working out like she wanted so its time for us to go visit the, um, “doctor”. No, you won’t need to worry about your homework…”

But when someone films inside a slaughterhouse – not just the murder of millions of sentient animals – but their illegal treatment before being murdered, you conservatives call them terrorists – just for the filming.

But all of a sudden, when it comes to this ethical hobby horse – abortion – then all of that goes out the window.

You don’t think that maybe politics explains this disconnect? The anti-abortion view is not motivated by sympathy for anything. If it were, you’d all be vegetarians. Instead, it is an ideological position like gun control, gays, and 16 ounce sodas.

This analogy doesn´t work because the babies sacrificed to a god had to be wanted babies. It would offend a god to offer it something undesired. Historically, undesired infants were either drowned or left as food for animals.

thuja on April 29, 2013 at 5:05 PM

When we consider that abortion on demand is only legal in FRANCE through week 12 of the pregnancy, and other civilized nations Europe have similar limitations, Britain has a limit of 24 weeks, this nation stands out for its policy of allowing ‘partial birth abortion’. When most of the civilized world recognizes that if the child is viable outside of the womb it is, indeed and fact, a child, how can this nation still deny this? How can we slay these tiny children and simultaneously claim to protect the right to ‘Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’ for our citizens?

When confronted with Gosnell and his kind, how is it that our press and media, for the most part, turns away? Do they not understand that this intentional blind silence makes them complicit in these crimes… this infanticide?

We live in a world with ample methods of cheap and effective birth control. How is it even possible that these women allow themselves to come to term with a pregnancy and then decide that the baby is an inconvenience of which they wish to dispose?

How is it that we have a sitting senator, Barbara Boxer, who, in defense of late term and partial birth abortion said ‘Its not a baby until the parents take it home from the hospital.’?

How is it that we have a president who endorses this behavior and praises it? Who claims to be a Christian, and yet, asks God to bless the biggest abortion provider in the nation?

Even aside from the carnage and slaughter… Gosnell chopped off the feet of those fetuses and babies and kept then in jars in his office. They served no ‘research’ objective or potential.

Ask yourself why he would do this.

Because he enjoyed it, they were his ‘collection’.

Ask yourself what kind of person does such a thing.

Then look up others with similar habits…like John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Thanks, friend. I had something that I had to do and then I started watching a doc on lost country houses in Britain. It’s really a shame. We’ve lost nearly 700 of them in the last century. They are so expensive to maintain and the Trust only ‘adopts’ a few, but these houses are part of history and pieces of art by themselves.

It’s a conundrum. Expense (And, boy, are they…replacing a single roof can cost many millions of pounds) v historical preservation. Now, unfortunately, many families, who have owned these houses for many centuries, are cash poor-asset rich. They cannot afford to maintain them, but live in them as they fall into disrepair around them.

My grandmother owns a pile near Hever Castle. I cannot imagine what it would be like without Anne Boleyn’s home. It was such an integral part of my childhood. It has been saved, but so many have disappeared (or will), especially those that may have architectural importance but lack the ‘historic significance’ because they cannot hang out ‘So-and-so slept here’ signs.

Anyhoo, I started watching it and fell asleep. I’ll be on QOTD this evening.

The Doctor has been exposed and feels shame. His Conscience prods him to feel shame…His Ego prompts him to decide this is a professional ambush.

He can choose to repent his actions to relieve his shame….or he can rebel and blame others for being trapped by his own actions and continue his evil actions.

He will no longer feel comfortable being paid to commit infanticide.

I pray he casts aside his pride and faces the music now for his immortal soul is in grave jeopardy…indeed he will face it eventually.

“Commenting on the First Letter of St. John, which states ” God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all,” Francis Pope pointed out that “we all have darkness in our lives,” moments “where everything, even our consciousness, is in the dark”, but this – he pointed out – does not mean we walk in darkness…

“Walking in darkness means being overly pleased with ourselves, believing that we do not need salvation. That is darkness! When we continue on this road of darkness, it is not easy to turn back. Therefore, John continues, because this way of thinking made him reflect: ‘If we say we are without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us‘. [Watch this...] Look to your sins, to our sins, we are all sinners, all of us … This is the starting point. But if we confess our sins, He is faithful, He is so just He forgives us our sins, cleansing us from all unrighteousness…The Lord who is so good, so faithful, so just that He forgives.”

“When the Lord forgives us, He does justice” – continued the Pope – first to himself, “because He came to save and forgive“, ["Save"? It is almost as if Francis believes in propitiation!]welcoming us with the tenderness of a Father for his children: “The Lord is tender towards those who fear, ["Fear"? It is almost as if Francis believes in reverence.] to those who come to Him “and with tenderness,” He always understand us”. He wants to gift us the peace that only He gives. ” [Here we go! Sacrament of Penance...] “This is what happens in the Sacrament of Reconciliation” even though “many times we think that going to confession is like going to the dry cleaner” to clean the dirt from our clothes:

“But Jesus in the confessional is not a dry cleaner: it is an encounter with Jesus, but with this Jesus who waits for us, who waits for us just as we are. “But, Lord, look … this is how I am”, we are often ashamed to tell the truth: ‘I did this, I thought this’. But shame [It: vergogna] is a true Christian virtue, ["Shame"? The readers of the Fishwrap aren't going to like this.] and even human … the ability to be ashamed: [Here is one of those moments I mentioned at the top...] I do not know if there is a similar saying in Italian, but in our country to those who are never ashamed are called “sin vergüenza’: this means ‘the unashamed ‘, because they are people who do not have the ability to be ashamed and to be ashamed is a virtue of the humble, of the man and the woman who are humble.

Pope Francis continued: “ we must have trust, because when we sin we have an advocate with the Father, “Jesus Christ the righteous.” And He “supports us before the Father” and defends us in front of our weaknesses. But you need to stand in front of the Lord “with our truth of sinners”, “with confidence, even with joy, without masquerading… We must never masquerade before God.” And shame is a virtue: “blessed shame.” “This is the virtue that Jesus asks of us: humility and meekness”…

“Humility and meekness are like the frame of a Christian life. A Christian must always be so, humble and meek. And Jesus waits for us to forgive us. We can ask Him a question: Is going to confession like to a torture session? [Excellent. I have often remarked that the confession is not The Rack.] No! It is going to praise God, because I, a sinner , have been saved by Him. And is He waiting for me to beat me? No, with tenderness to forgive me. And if tomorrow I do the same? Go again, and go and go and go …. He always waits for us. This tenderness of the Lord, this humility, this meekness …. ”

This confidence, concluded Pope Francis “gives us room to breathe.” “The Lord give us this grace, the courage to always go to Him with the truth, because the truth is light and not the darkness of half-truths or lies before God. It give us this grace! So be it. “ –

You don’t think that maybe politics explains this disconnect? The anti-abortion view is not motivated by sympathy for anything. If it were, you’d all be vegetarians. Instead, it is an ideological position like gun control, gays, and 16 ounce sodas.

At least nobody is throwing the fetuses on the BBQ. And you can’t buy them at the supermarket.

Let me introduce you to Krishna Rajanna

NAME: KRISHNA RAJANNA
Clinic Information:
Affordable Medicine Clinic, Kansas City, KS – Closed
Allegations:
Cannibalism
Filthy clinic conditions
Status:
CLOSED
License suspended/Expired

2005 Clinic closed
Currently serving life in prison
Factiods:
Krishna Rajanna ran a grossly filthy abortion mill in Kansas City, Kansas.
Photographs obtained by pro-lifers revealed appalling conditions that included blood-soaked carpeting in procedure rooms and improperly sterilized surgical instruments, which were stored next to a blood-stained open toilet where aborted baby parts were allegedly flushed.
Most shocking, however, was news that clinic employees told a Kansas
City Police Detective that Rajanna had been seen mixing aborted baby
parts into his lunch. That detective testified of what he saw and heard
at Rajanna’s mill before the Kansas Legislature in support of stricter
clinic regulations.

In February, 2005, the KSBHA fined Rajanna a mere $1,000 after considering the case for nearly two years. Pressure brought by pro-life groups, including Operation Rescue, during debate on a bill that would have required abortion mills be regulated spurred the KSBHA to suspend
Rajanna’s medical license in March, 2005. Rajanna’s abortion mill closed soon after.

The decision to revoke Rajanna’s license came after the Board determined that Rajanna could not practice medicine unsupervised.

But, but… I keep reading – with every new clinic/doctor that is revealed to be doing the same kind of thing – that it’s just this one two three four five six seven… doctor(s), just isolated incidents!

My, that Barack fellow sure knows how to surround himself with some classy, respectable folks, doesn’t he?

Midas on April 29, 2013 at 6:31 PM

Ok, I’ll say it; I’m categorically not advocating this, but honestly, I’m surprised there aren’t more abortion clinics burned and doctors/butchers beaten or worse by people that just cant abide the wanton evil another minute longer.

This stuff puts Hollywood horror movies to shame. Hannibal Lector is a scary character, but he’s got nothing on Kermit Gosnell, this cannibal baby parts abortionist, etc. Dear God, this is truly unthinkably evil – right here, right now, in our midst.

And the left doesn’t just tolerate it – it celebrates it. Revels in it. Wants more of it.

The real monsters here are those committing infanticide DAILY. They are butchering innocent children!

No, my friend, the real monsters are those millions of Americans who defend the Gosnell’s, enbable them, and propagandize, try to convince us, that this is all about a “right” and no big deal, and besides, it is nothing but a collection of unwanted cells being disposed of.

And, they live with you, they work with you, even go to the same church you may attend, teach your kids, coach their sports teams. to.

Those are the real monsters.

Most have never heard of Margaret Sanger, nor her attitude and philosophy about the lesser races, and the direct link between Sanger and other monsters in the past century who advocated the same.

Progressivism is but one uniform change away from fascism.

But when someone films inside a slaughterhouse – not just the murder of millions of sentient animals – but their illegal treatment before being murdered, you conservatives call them terrorists – just for the filming.

Cite any one such example. Prove this. Tell us when it happened, ever!

But all of a sudden, when it comes to this ethical hobby horse – abortion – then all of that goes out the window.

You don’t think that maybe politics explains this disconnect? The anti-abortion view is not motivated by sympathy for anything. If it were, you’d all be vegetarians.

Nope. See, some of us believe that God gave us dominion over the earth; that we’re charged to be good stewards of it, but that it belongs to us, and our families, to feed our increase.

We also place a higher value on human life than on animal life.

Instead, it is an ideological position like gun control, gays, and 16 ounce sodas.

You’re right – there’s absolutely no difference between the willful destruction of a human life and the size of a carry-out drink.

At least nobody is throwing the fetuses on the BBQ. And you can’t buy them at the supermarket.

Abortion is the natural outcome of an Atheistic/Darwinist world view.

It will never get coverage, so the masses will never know.

At the risk of being graphic, being a someone that formerly was in healthcare, I call bulls*** on his defense.

I personally twitch every time I hear people saying the word ‘snipped’. Snipped is such a benign word. Usually used when cutting off a stray thread in a seam or from a button on a shirt. This guy might have called it ‘snipping’ but quite literally, he used scissors to cut the baby’s spinal column in half at the base of the neck.

I also don’t believe the Digoxin story. They raided the guy’s place and it was a healthcare nightmare, which included outdated drugs, one vial was from something like 1997. Do I think with his absolute barbaric practices that this guy was consistantly using Digoxin? No.

Most especially because you don’t have to cut the spinal cord of a dead baby because it’s already dead. Sorry to be blunt, but with this guy’s track record, I assume that’s because scissors can be reused, digoxin has to be purchased.

And think about HOW one would have to inject the baby. Your either going through the cervix or through the uterine wall. Wouldn’t you need ultrasound guidance to figure out where to inject the drug? Wouldn’t it be dangerous to do that blindly, considering that to have the drug potentially end up in the mother’s bloodstream, that could create a dangerously slow heart rate in her?

Nope, too risky to wing that. Ten bucks the guy just did what was testified to by his staff.

If I were a lawyer, I’d ask every single one of his staff if they ever saw Digoxin used or if the doctor ever was witnessed injecting anything through the abdominal wall or through the cervix. If they didn’t see it while they’re standing at his side, it just didn’t happen.

This whole thing is just so repellent.
