Video: Tough day on the White House basketball court

posted at 2:41 pm on April 1, 2013 by Allahpundit

To cleanse the palate, something silly from a slow opening-day news cycle. I read several stories about this, shrugged it off as being too trivial even for me, and went about my business. Then I saw the clip. Good lord. There are enough bricks here to build an annex to the White House. The man’s earned my respect, if only for today, for insisting on trying to shoot his way out of a funk this deep even while a crowd of women and children looked on in horror. I would have quit in despair after the first hundred misses.

Exit quotation from the 10-year-old who hits a layup in the vid: “He couldn’t make one. I had to help him out.”

The man and the president, in front of your eyes.

Just like his budgets….. I’m just hoping he’s not around to submit 22 of them.

LoganSix on April 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM

Indicates to me that all the time they *say* he is golfing and hooping he’s really snorting and Reggie Loving.

ctmom on April 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM

That’s how long it’ll take him to straighten out the land.

p.s. never assume that he intends to.

Schadenfreude on April 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM

LOL!

Isn’t he supposed to be super-awesome at hoops? His shooting form, in the immortal words of Sir Charles of Barkley, is just TURRIBLE. Almost no follow-through.

Good Solid B-Plus on April 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM

It’s April Fool’s Day! He was DELIBERATELY playing the Foole!

ANd that is different today…..how?

michaelo on April 1, 2013 at 2:48 PM

This was just because he’s so constantly focused on jobs and orphans and green energy companies stuck in trees. Also, the company that made that basket ball hoop will be driven out of business within the year.

No comparison to Bush who fired in a decent pitch with very good form.

I have seen it posted or said on far too many occasions, that in addition to all his political awesomeness, that Obama is also a killer on the court.

Such a load of BS.

Then I saw the clip. Good lord. There are enough bricks here to build an annex to the White House.

Meh. It was always known that Barky is an uncoordinated semi-human. His 37 bowling score pretty much said everything anyone needed to know about his lack of physical abilities.

If you think this pathetic shooting is funny (especially for a guy who seems to spend half his pathetic life on the basketball court) you should see his golf swing.

Barky is not only an 84 IQ imbecile who couldn’t pass an 8th grade math test, but he couldn’t make an 8th grade varsity team, either. About the only job this lowlife retard could get is Precedent and that’s only because America is on a suicidal drive to erase itself from history.

Oh, and you know that Barky cheats his azz off, too. I’d guess that he shoots about a 140 on the golf course, though I’m sure his cards read “80s”. What a pathetic, loser of an idiot. The dirtball has not one, single talent or skill, whatsoever. All he has is his skin and his imperviousness to shame and his own stupidity.

After picking up a golf club that day for the very first time in his life, the Dear Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea fired a 38-under-par round of 34 at Pyongyang.
