Geraldo: Hey, let’s be not too quick to pigeonhole Arafat

posted at 6:01 pm on March 22, 2013 by Allahpundit

Via Mediaite. Remember, this guy is supposedly thinking of running for Senate. In the tri-state area. In a Republican primary.

Second look at staying at Fox forever?

Harry Reems is still alive?

Stu Gotts on March 22, 2013 at 6:04 PM

He is SO complex that he is worm feed.

cat-scratch on March 22, 2013 at 6:08 PM

Jackass.

I saw this segment this morning, and… well, it’s a good thing I can control my temper and not smash my TV every time some idiot says something stupid on the air.

UltimateBob on March 22, 2013 at 6:09 PM

Second look at staying at Fox forever?

Second look at Fox as an actual news source with credibility.

But then again, employing Geraldo at least keeps him off the streets where he can do serious damage.

Geraldo: Hey, let’s be not too quick to pigeonhole Arafat

I agree. Let’s Camelhole him.

SparkPlug on March 22, 2013 at 6:10 PM

Look at Chris Christie. Cozying up to Islamists is a resume enhancer in NewJersey. This makes me think he is running for Senate.

sauldalinsky on March 22, 2013 at 6:15 PM

Stupid is as stupid says.

Judging from the beard, I imagine the hair under Mr. Arafat’s scarf was like Fabio’s.

Ladysmith CulchaVulcha on March 22, 2013 at 6:18 PM

Yes, let’s not assume that the only man to stand at the podium in the UN General Assembly wearing a pistol is a violent person.

Let’s just assume that millions of law-abiding Americans who even own a gun are.

Arafat won the Nobel Peace Prize just like Obowma…

Didn’t he die of AIDS? I suppose being gay in the Muslim world could be termed as “complex”.

Philly on March 22, 2013 at 6:25 PM

Yeah, I remember the time George Washington took a bunch of Jewish athletes hostage and murdered 13 of them.

rbj on March 22, 2013 at 6:25 PM

Arafat was a complex man the same way there was surely a warm and witty side to Heinrich Himmler.

Does Geraldo really think he’s scoring points with anyone who has half a brain and a knowledge of history? It was Arafat who masterminded the concept of plane hijackings to force concessions from Europe, America, and Israel. In one instance, four hijacked airliners were blown up in Egypt after the passengers were freed. Things went downhill from there.

Arafat was a thief who lived high on the hog after being given territory, while other Palestinians went hungry. He created no jobs; most Palestinians make a living working across the border in Israel to this day.

People pigeonhole themselves, and Arafat certainly earned his niche.

Liam on March 22, 2013 at 6:26 PM

Yeah and Pol Pot liked kittens. Oh, and that nice Hitler fella was an artist. They were all so complicated, ya know?

Warner Todd Huston on March 22, 2013 at 6:27 PM

On the plus side, Arafat didn’t open Al Capone’s vault on live national TV.

Liberals think that thugs like Arafat and Hugo Chavez are “complex” yet consider people like George Bush and Sarah Palin to be pure evil that should be demonized at every turn.

Arafat was a poor, misunderstood, unshaven, bathing-deprived terrorist.

KOOLAID2 on March 22, 2013 at 7:12 PM

You are pathetic Geraldo and a worm..Arafat was an evil human being who ordered people to kill people for the sake of Allah..If he didn’t get saved before he died then he’s burning in hell with Mohammad this very instant

sadsushi on March 22, 2013 at 7:14 PM

Complicated? Pffffffftttt!

BetseyRoss on March 22, 2013 at 7:19 PM

Why would Geraldo run as a Republican, exactly what Republican principles does this clown believe in? Why is he still on Fox does he have pictures of somebody?

cmptrnerd on March 22, 2013 at 7:27 PM

I’m kind of hoping he runs so there’s a chance one of his debate opponents will break his nose with a chair again.

Really Geraldo?

kregg on March 22, 2013 at 8:13 PM

Arafat: Complicit in the murder of American diplomat. (apparently not a crime any longer). Geraldo: Tossed out of our military operations in Iraq for revealing info on TV about our movements/location. Must be related.

Gothguy on March 22, 2013 at 11:12 PM

Geraldo just wants us to remember that great men have quirks, like waking up at night with the shakes trying to resist the urge to spit on Michelle Malkin.

flicker on March 23, 2013 at 12:47 AM

If by “complex” you mean a murdering, lying, closet homosexual, then perhaps I’ll buy it… but I’m still not sure that’s a positive!

dpduq on March 23, 2013 at 1:20 AM

Just so there is no misunderstanding, I honestly don’t give a flying flaming rat’s patootie in space what Jerry Rivers has to say about anything!

Geraldo my butt!

pilamaye on March 23, 2013 at 7:47 AM

Jerry should have put that in the past tense since Arafat is worm bait right now. Most low info voters don’t spend much time on history and probably don’t know who we deposed in Iraq or why. The names aren’t important as they change with the passing wind. It’s what they do to the people in their country and the pressure placed on other countries that matter. Che was a murdering sociopath Castro used to keep Cubans in line while he cemented his hold on the island nation. People still today wear T shirts with his image.

Arafat? didn’t he die of aids? Oh yeah now I see why Jerry Rivers would think him complex.
