Video: Colion Noir’s first segment at NRA News on gun control

posted at 6:01 pm on March 19, 2013 by Allahpundit

Via Andy at Ace’s site. A confession of my own ignorance: Until two weeks ago, when NRA News announced he was joining their team, I’d never heard of Colion Noir. Evidently I’m one of the few people on the right who hasn’t, because the number of YouTube views he’s gotten for some of his freelance pro-gun commentaries over the past year is mind-boggling by the standards of political video. He’s already a superstar in gun-rights circles; it’s just taken a bit longer for some of us more casual gun-rights supporters to catch up.

Here’s his first official vid for the NRA plus the most popular clip he cut while he was independent. Something to enjoy while you’re celebrating the demise of the assault-weapons ban in the Senate at Democratic hands.

Now that was some refreshing common sense coming from the youth of America.

Whoaaaaa. Now that makes way to much sense. It will never do.

How DARE he call the President out like that? Why, he’s as rude and racist as that Dr. Carson guy. That is no way to talk about a President of the United States even one who only cares about kids getting killed when they are white suburban kids.

I hope Mr. Noir has very thick skin and a flamesuit, because once the imbecilic ignoramuses of the leftardsphere focus their Alinsky powers on him, it will get very hot. Prepare to have all your personal info outed and you and your family members cyberbullied Mr. Noir.

Keep pounding the message patriot!

the demise of the assault-weapons ban in the Senate at Democratic hands.

Hell, they’re not stupid. Gun owners = votes.

The Dems have tossed away and insulted hard working, tax paying, ID carrying Americans. Thet can’t toss every constituency in the damn country under the bus and continue to get elected.

Besides, they’ll get us evil gun owners some other way. Under cover of darkness with a midnight vote.

Pretty good. My other takeaway is how great it is that someone can rise from obscurity to spokesperson via YouTube just be conveying their thoughts in a coherent manner. We truly live in the “golden age” of the internet. Enjoy it while it lasts.

some of us more casual gun-rights supporters

cas·u·al [kazh-oo-uhl]: adjective – seeming or tending to be indifferent to what is happening; apathetic; unconcerned: a casual, nonchalant air.

Yep, pretty much well self-described.

Heh. They haven’t even really formulated a way to come after Dr. Carson yet. Candy Crowley spent half her brief interview with him on Sunday trying to pigeonhole him as a Conservative. She couldn’t quite grasp that he’s a registered Independent and that all the racist redneck confederate flag wavers with mullets showing him all this love is in appreciation for having courage, fortitude and being a walking-embodiment of the American spirit and dream. (I’ve assigned my son to read his book Gifted Hands and he’s gonna write Mommy a 300 word essay on Carson’s character when he’s all done h/t Ben’s mother).

His speech was absolutely amazing at CPAC.

Awesomeness…

The only problem I have is his assertion that the inner-city education systems are “wholly underfunded”.

Anyone else see Glenn’s show on TheBlaze, this evening?

Totally on-topic as pertains to this thread, and well worth it.

Never heard of him.

I’m glad I clicked on his videos.

(Unlike the Oppa Gangnam style rap videos …..)

There is too much money in education. Totally unpopular thing to say. The administrative budgets for nearly every school district should be slashed 40-60% There is so much bloat and waste and make work.

Democrats ruined education when they made it their pet issue for vote buying and emotional appeals.

tom daschle concerned on March 19, 2013 at 11:01 PM

He’s great, but he doesn’t say anything Cam Edwards hasn’t said a hundred times. Oh yeah, that’s right, white people are disquaified from everything now.

Q. What do you call a black man at a conservative convention?

A. The keynote speaker.
