Simplified to get to the heart of the issue. The American Left loved Hitler and Stalin in the Thirties, Communists in general from the Fifties on, and has had a metrosexual-crush on Islamists since the Six Day War. Add in their infatuation with deep-ecology fanaticism (“Back in the caves, peasants!”), and even some of the screwier forms of monarchy (Castro and Chavez’ come to mind), and it’s clear that their real “ideology” is authoritarianism, the more brutal, vicious, and callous the better.

They dream of a world with their boot in everybody else’s face, forever, as Orwell said. And their pious protestations of “socialism” and “brotherhood” are nothing but a con.

Beware of the day that they feel that it is safe for them to drop the mask.

Things have come to a dangerous place when our best hope lies in a flyover country that is literally in a daily battle for it’s own existence from barbarians at the gate.

The one country in the “Arab Spring” that quite possibly could have ended up with a more pro-American government, and we threw them under the bus. All the JEF had to do before was show a little backbone, and it could have turned into a great foreign policy success – not to mention taking care of the nuclear threat w/o war.

It takes how many years at an Ivy League school to learn this clown patrol foreign policy?
